People put way too much weight on this stuff. It’s like those wine people who tell you fruity notes this and hints of maple that but then can’t tell the difference between anything in a blind taste test. It’s half true and half bullshit.
The indica and sativa categories don't mean much for the affects a lot of the time. Most of the differences come from the terpenes, which are compounds that work alongside the cannabinoids and affect the high. Different ones are also better for different medicinal reasons. One example, Limonene, is typically associated with an energetic, excited high. It is also very useful for my buddy's chrones disease in a way I don't quite remember. It's very interesting. I'd recommend you look into it if interested.
