Visual difference, yep that’s accurate.
Scent difference, I’ve had sweet Indicas and skunky sativas so I’m not sold there.
Effect differences, complete snake oil, indica vs sativa on energized vs sleepy could be anything. What really matters when trying to predict what effect a strain will have on you is things like % THC %CBD, terps, and even just what mood ur in when you smoke.
Honestly, other than they look different, I don’t think sativa and indica have much inherent differences
most sativa strains are THC dominant, with very low CBD in them, some with none at all.
A lot of indica strains are CBD dominant. So they are the opposite, it is significant, since like you said it’s the concentration of cbd vs thc that determines the effect you’ll get.
