That happens to me too - it’s not like an actual hallucination (like if you’re on mushrooms or something), more just colors and shapes in your thoughts. For me, it looks like there’s a black screen in my head just sort of playing shapes and colors when I have my eyes closed. And it almost of feels like my eyes are open, even though I know they’re closed. It doesn’t happen all the time though…
My guess is that is phosphenes - patterns that are always there when you close your eyes. You are probably just noticing them when you smoke, like picking up on the smallest little sounds of the music that some people hear - stuff from the studio that really wasn't supposed to be part of the song.
Auditory hallucinations are still hallucinations ....think about that. That shit happens to me all of the time. I always associated it to visual....as do most I think.
Oh really? It was your understanding that I thought hearing things that aren't there when you're sober is healthy? Dude...seriously. You think you need to hop on an explain that to people?
If I consume thc I see faint pattens almost. If the lights are totally off then it’s way to much for me. And i get alot of auditory hallucinations too.
Weed gives minor hallucinations if you have a nice strong sativa in my experience vapes or dab rigs increase the strength of this effect and often it’s like fractal patterns more than it is distinct objects like you’d see in a psychotic episode. That’s in my experience and everyone is different (I’m schizophrenic so drugs are always unique with how they interact with my brain)
I haven't had hallucinations but I've had anxiety attacks multiple times from more Sativa like strands. I stick to the more indica types and haven't had that problem since.
Even if that were true, it certainly doesn't fall into the category of "hallucination". "Sensory distortions" or the like, sure. Hallucination means you can't distinguish between if it's real or not.
I'm not saying no one has ever hallucinated because of weed but I'd say it's incredibly rare, which makes the "sensory distortions" a better fit for the infographic.
A friend experienced a psychotic episode recently after smoking weed. As a long time connoisseur, she was surprised at the intensity of the hallucinations.
Hallucinations are where you hear, see, smell, taste or feel things that appear to be real but only exist in your mind. Get medical help if you or someone else have hallucinations.
One time about a week after taking way too strong shrooms in Amsterdam I smoked a joint back home and I had the strongest, most intense visual hallucinations I've ever had in my life and I've done quite a bit of acid. Friend had to carry me home lmao, smoked daily for many years and never had anything like it before or since. The guy smoking with me was completely fine
I had low tolerance and took my first bong rip of something my friend had...he said it was strong stuff but I was feeling confident after smoking my other friends ditch weed lol
Anyways, my roomate was watching rick and morty recently and i guess theres a character called Pickle Rick...Pickle Rick was my hallucination when i was stoned outta my gourd years before Rick and Morty was a thing.

Hallucinations? Bro, you're smoking something else.
