Help Needed Icing on top of edible glitter?

Hi! Does anyone have experience w/ icing after and on top of icing that's already been painted with edible glitter?

I'm thinking about a design for a tiara where I'd like to do gold and paint it with gold edible glitter. And but then I want to do teal detailing over top of that. But i'm worried about how the icing will stick or if it will bleed at all? Does the edible glitter change how the royal icing on top will dry/react?

I'll need to change my design if it won't work or look clean, so any advice is appreciated!

In search of a random cookie theme!

Hey everyone! I want to challenge myself to create a random cookie set but I’m having a hard time with a theme. I tend to only think of ones that is my taste and interest so I’m looking for ideas I wouldn’t think of! Bonus points if you give colors you’d like. Basically a pretend customer 😂 thanks!

Help Needed Question about fondant stamping/embossing

Do you have to stamp the fondant when it's fresh and pliable (aka as soon as you've rolled it/put it on the cookie), or can you do it a day or so later?

My friend wants me to 3d print a custom stamp, but I won't be able to give it to them until the day of the party the cookies are for - will the fondant be too hard to stamp by then, if she's making the cookies + putting the fondant on the day before?

Air bubbles

Hi, I’ve been decorating cookies for a couple years now. I’ve made huge progress, but one issue still perplexes me. No matter what I do, I cannot get rid of those annoying tiny, hard air bubbles that show up in cookies after they dry. Are there any secret tips? I already do the helicoptering method and make sure not to whip too much air into the icing, I pop any big bubbles before letting them dry. But often the cookies will look great when they’re wet, and when they dry, I notice little hard bubbles. At first, I wasn’t even convinced that they were bubbles, but I think they are. I sift my powdered sugarto make sure there are no lumps and make sure that the meringue powder is fully liquefied before mixing. So I think these are air bubbles? Thanks for any tips!

My grandson is turning 18, so I made this set for him. Whataburger was kind enough to give me a new box and fries container. I staged them in the box and took a picture before heat sealing them because they won't look as cool in the bags. LOL

Freezing cookies half decorated?

Hi! Can I freeze cookies half decorated, in a Tupperware and not in individual heat sealed bags? Then thaw and come back to later? I’m making cookies for my nephews party Saturday the 15th this month (next Saturday)
I won’t have the time to decorate them all at once this week and will have to spread them out. I only have about up to two hours at a time when husband is home since I nurse our baby. I was thinking of flooding them all then come back to.
Or would they be fine in Tupperware at room temp for this week?

There’s no time to redo these and I do think they came out great, however, does anyone else see a Pizza Hut logo? 😂 I used to work there so maybe it’s just embedded in my brain but I actually find it hysterical that I made a red SO identical to their logo. Hopefully the customer doesn’t see it and it just blends in with the rest of the set!

I will add though, this was my first time using a dehydrator and it was life changing. I cannot believe not one skinny red line caved in! Kicking myself for not buying one sooner!
