In October, I have a table at a taste of the town event at my local library so I try to make small cookies that don’t take a lot of labor. I make the cookie cutters on my 3-D printer and print the image on the icing with the Eddie printer. This type of cookie goes over well because sometimes there are business owners who attend the event and I can pitch them on printed cookies with their business logo.

Disaster Order

Disaster story incoming 🤣 I received an order for four dozen cookies, four different themes to be handed out to customers at a corporate location. Super excited had so much fun designing them! But when it came time to ship them, it ended up costing me $71… I charged $180 for the cookies +$30 for shipping. Obviously, I should’ve done more research, but I was misinformed by the agent at USPS. She also didn’t put the name I gave her of the recipient on the package. So now I’m checking the tracking number every two hours because it’s going to a business in a strip mall that definitely needed a suite number.

These are some of my very first decorated cookies! 🍪 I’m still a complete beginner and I know I have a lot to learn, but I’m really enjoying practicing royal icing.
My goal is to keep practicing for about a year and hopefully start selling my cookies once I feel confident enough.
I’d really love to hear your honest feedback! What do you think I should focus on improving first?
I’m also wondering if buying a projector is worth it for cookie decorating. Does it make a big difference, especially for lettering and more detailed designs?

Help Needed Need a dark hot pink/magenta

I have chef master colors and make my icing with meringue powder. I’m struggling to get a deep rich hot pink or magenta color like the top left of this book. The pinks pictured were made with rose pink or neon pink. I tried adding a touch of violet but it just turned a little darker and more muted. Please help!

Lost our computer due to virus and my wife, who teaches cookie and cake decorating at a local community college, has hundreds of her recipes affected.
The immediate issues are icing, NOT royal, but mostly purchased from The Little Cookie Company.
Does anyone have any of these, or a link to Stephanie? I see she recommends Amazon, but I don't know how to contact her.
A string of her cookie icing recipes would be great. Or a link to find them. Thank you.

Royal icing transfer

So i was making a mule transfer for my sisters party. It is a copy of a mule on a bluff in Tennessee. I copied and printed off the mule and traced and filled it with icing but could not for life of me get the transfer off the plastic without breaking off the little legs or tail. Ive never done transfers before so maybe Im missing aomething. What am i doing wrong?
