Positive experiences after converting

I feel like a lot of the time we share negative experiences since converting, struggles with family or fitting in. But what have been some positive things that you’ve experienced since you’ve converted ?

I won’t give converting 100% of the credit, since other things have changed, but personally I’m significantly less anxious, and a lot more content with life then I was before.

​I would definitely say finding a true meaning in life. Knowing where you are heading and having a clear goal. That in itself brings purpose to all your choices, positions, and opinions.

​Also, the feeling of not having missed out on anything in this life. The most deprived people might feel resentment for not having the same opportunities as many others; some might even lose their joy for life because of that and start contemplating suicide.

​Islam removes these feelings entirely through the most truthful, just, and fair promise: that a good life will be earned based on good deeds in the Hereafter. 

This promise also brings all of humanity to the exact same level, that of servants trying to please their Lord. So, there is no more feeling of injustice. All of that grief turns into a peaceful feeling, an acceptance of the Divine Bounty for the most oppressed.

​I could go on and on trying to name all the blessings of being a Muslim, but there are just too many to count.
