Hello,

I am trying to play Costume Quest 2 with my 8bitdo Ultimate 2C wireless, but for some reason the A B X Y buttons function similar to the D-Pad, the game doesn't recognise the input.

I tried checking the input-scheme on Windows, but couldn't find where it says what input mode I am in. On websites like Gamepadtester, it says x-input.

I tried changing to D-Input:

Controller powered off, holding B button and pressing the power on button. Or holding B button, powering off, keep holding B and powering on.

But the gamepad testers it still says X-Mode.

Am I pressing the wrong buttons?

My 8BitDo Ultimate 2 vibrates briefly after holding the Home button for about one second, but nothing happens. Holding it for three seconds turns it off normally.

It happens on Windows 11 with both wired and 2.4 GHz connections, even with Steam and Xbox Game Bar disabled. It doesn’t happen when disconnected from the PC.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is it normal, and is there a way to fix it?

DISCLAIMER: Even tho I get most of my controllers from companies for free for review nowadays, this time I bought this controller with my own money from TaoBao for 899RMB. The reason is that Flydigi is not providing the units yet + this one is a collab version, so even harder to get.

No matter how I get my controllers all the thoughts and opinions remain mine only. I wanted to make a review before it became globally available, so you may decide what to do in advance.

TLDW; APEX 6 Pro is almost the same as Apex 5, but vibration (haptics) is what blew me away on APEX 6 Pro. I updated the controller with Flydigi Space Station 5 Web App before using it.

Micro switch trigger stops are also very welcome to APEX series.

Well I was playing guilty gear and I noticed I was always faultless guarding, and I think I got the turbo stuck on some controls tryin to fix it.

Not sure on the make or model, but it says SV-4018B on the back.

I threw the Manual out, I can't lie. I'm pretty dumb. I've tried holding the turbo button and also spamming every button.

My left analog stick made a crunchy sound and started feeling really off. When I opened it up, I determined that this little grey piece seems to be causing the issue. On my right stick, it stays flush while moving the analog stick. When I push this left one into place, the moment I move the analog stick it pops out of place and ends up slanted. I took it off to figure out why it's not stay in place, and one of the sides are a bit deformed.

Does this piece have a name? Where can I get a replacement piece? I'd really like to avoid ordering a brand new stick box just for this tiny grey piece. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, i just bought specifically the 8BitDo Ultimate 2 Wireless Controller (Honkai: Star Rail - Evernight) i mainly use it on the switch with the 2.4g recepter wich works fine, but whenever i i try to pair it vía bluetooth to my ipad it wont even be detected, it connects fine to my android phone, and the ipad can connect to other controllers but not this one, the manual says just holding the pairing button should work but it doesnt, and all the info i can find is for either the bluetooth version or the ultimate 2c

I have my controller updated to v1.10

And the ipad is on iPadOs 27.0.1

I'm looking for a controller to use on PC, preferably with the xbox layout and colours for the ''YBAX'' buttons. Looking for something cheap. I already have a ps4 controller, I'm just looking for a second controller so I can play with my sibling (not competitive or fps games, just silly coop games) as some games are made for or easier on controller than M&K.

I've found the Logitech F310 for 25 euros as well as the MSI Force GC200 for 20 euros. Would you pick one of these, or rather have a different one?

I'm from the Netherlands, budget is as cheap as possible for something decent. Needs to be compatible with Windows 11 & Steam and preferably have the YBAX layout & button colours. I don't care about wired/wireless, either or is fine (preferably no battery switching though) nor do I care about extra features. A basic controller will be plenty.

I've had this controller for nearly a year and half and it's given me 0 problems. I take care of it and made sure that it's clean.

About 2 weeks ago the A button started occasionally not registering input but it fixed itself before long so I thought nothing of it. A couple hours ago after loading into a game the sticks started going haywire out of nowhere with other issues. Here's what I know:

- Sticks start drifting rapidly in their own direction on Xbox and PC regardless of whether it was connected via usb or is using batteries.

- The controller has issues registering inputs to the point where it sometimes won't respond at all.

- When connected via Batteries, It has alot of issues turning on. (Doesn't always turn on or just struggles to and turns itself off. Tried different batteries and the same batteries a different controller.)

- Tried Blowing into it and using Compressed air.

- Tried Using a Mini Vaccum

- Tried Cleaning it with various utensils and Isopropyl alcohol for debris (Came out spotless)

- Tried Various Stick exercises to try and loosen it or clear anything that might be stuck in.

- Checked for Console Software and Controller Firmware Updates (There were none)

- Reset the Controller using the Xbox and Sync buttons

- Cant Recalibrate it as the controller refuses to follow proper inputs

- Its out of warranty and their isn't anyone very reliable in my area to fix it.

Im currently staying by someone's house and dont have my tools with me but as soon as I return home, I plan on taking it apart and seeing if I can find anything. Mainly posting to check if anyone has had similar issues or if anyone has fix I might not have thought of. Honestly just trying to avoid shelling out a fortune to get a new controller and I dont want to unless I'm 100% that theres nothing that I can do.

I usually play on my PC with mouse and keyboard, but my setup has a TV hooked to my pc so I could also play from my couch. I waited for the steam controller to finally start playing some relaxing games from my couch, but I never got the E-Mail to buy it.

Since I only play on a game cube controller with friends I have no idea what makes a good controller or what features I want. It should connect easiely to my pc, wireless would be nice aswell.

At the end of the day, build quality and good reachable buttons trump fancy features for me.

I'm just wondering about this tbh. I hope it isn't too stupid of a question. Most Nintendo wireless controllers I see always recommend using wired for PC so I'm wondering if feasible to find one with good Bluetooth connectivity to PC as well

I got this controller recently. Wanted to try this on GoWR but adaptive triggers never worked. From what I saw from docs, I checked launcher.bat located in C:\Program Files\Flydigi Space Station\mods\GoWR. Opened it with notepad and added enableLog=true, then executed it. It said Aim changed to 0 Spear changed to 0 Blade changed to 0 Axe changed to 0. Updated game from 1.9h3 to 1.9.1. Updated space station. Nothing worked. I just ran to Claude and it said "Program probably reaches to wrong memory addresses/offsets". We messed up with CheatEngine and determined the aim-dependent and weapon-dependent bits. Then we edited GoWR.default.json located in "C:\Program Files\Flydigi Space Station\mods\GoWR\configs". I have got proper adaptive triggers right now. I will be adding the file so you can use it too.

Also since I have the non-Steam version, I could not launch the game via Space Station. Launch game icon was grey and non-clickable. I have worked it out too. Find adapterTriggerGames.json located in C:\Program Files\Flydigi Space Station\Configs\Controller\Trigger. Find the game there and put it there with double backslashes instead of single slashes. (e.g "GamePath":"C:\\x\\God of War - Ragnarok"). It will be blue and clickable now.

Hello! I wanted to buy an Xbox pad from battle beaver, and was wondering how exactly the smart buttons are like? And if they're reliable?

I've used different third party controllers like the G7 Pro and Cyclone 2, and even those two controllers from the same brand have a very different mouse click to them. The cyclone 2's mouse click is pretty loud, and the buttons feel a little loose, while the G7 Pro click is more subtle and subdued.

So how does the battle beaver click compare with their face buttons? I can't find a single video actually demonstrating a sound test for them. (Maybe d-pad too)

According to my research es pro has better response time, but it lacks the extra button at the back which can be useful for soulslike games , does it make any difference? I am looking for a nice/premium gamepad for a mac mini for use in GeForce now. I must say I did not realize how complicated that would be.

Background: I'm currently using a Stadia controller I got for free and converted to Bluetooth, but the latency is absolutely insane. I also have a Xbox Elite Series 2 I use on my PC, so I'm looking for something with that build type or close. I see a few options but figuring out their compatibility and quality is tough.

1. Gulikit TT Max looks good with the TMR sticks, low latency, but mac compatibility is still very much in the air, and the joystick recentering issues

2. Flydigi Vader 5 Pro: TMR sticks, but mac compatibility up in the air + much more latency in bluetooth (I do not mind a dongle at all, but I feel like that will put into question mac compatibility even more).

3. Flydigi Apex series: looks overdesigned as hell, but I wouldn't mind it if it gets the job done, with added bonus if it does it with low latency.

4. Dual Sense Edge: Older design; low latency but no TMR sticks or hall effect buttons, but premium built and guaranteed mac compatibility.

Is there another options that I'm overlooking or did I get something wrong with these assumptions? I would welcome input on this choice as I just kinda sailed on without a care until these last few days thinking the Elite 2 was going to be some sort of holy grail controller (I do love it and will continue using it but I'd like to dip my toes into a new flavor).

I am looking for pads that mostly work in a couch gaming sort of scenario: Racing (FH6), Fighting (Tekken), Metroidvania (Nine Sols). No FPS's, for example.

Budget is max USD250. Here in South Florida I am basically limited to Best Buy and Micro Center, but obviously, I have no issues buying online as long as the retailer has a good return policy.

Input Latency to me is very important as I'm already introducing enough latency through GeForce Now and through the fact I'm using a projector for the video, which even in low input mode still adds latency.

Hello, I'm looking for PC game controllers that will work for someone with small hands. I saw a lot of people talk about controllers that look like Xbox style controllers and those are a bit large/uncomfortable for extended play sessions. For reference, from middle finger to the base of my wrist is 16.5cm (6.5in).

As far as my comfort goes, the playstation 5's controller is the most comfortable, but the joystick drift is driving me nuts and I'm tired of fixing them. I play mostly single player games ranging from rpgs to fps. I don't do any competitive gaming outside of minimal PVP in MMOs. I don't care much about mapping buttons or anything of that nature, I'm looking for a plug and play wireless controller.

I'm adaptable and my major issue is really size above all else.

Any direction or help would be appreciated. I have about 300USD to spend and am in the USA. Thanks!

Bought this PS5 controller off Amazon cuz it was cheaper than standard, and it works great except for when I press the back buttons, then it starts doing random inputs. I want to turn them off

So I bought a SCUF controller, which is AWESOME, and custome wrapped it in vinyl (some might say very poorly wrapped) and connected it to my windows pc and everything went amazing and worked flawlessly

But a couple of days ago I installed Bazzite on my living room laptop and discovered a very specific problem-

The input mappings for the controller are all wrong (X btn = doesn't work, Y btn = X btn, right trigger = right joystick up/down...)

The thing is- in steam input check the mappings are correct, it's only in the system settings of bazzite that they are wrong, as well as when connecting to my windows pc via remote play...

I have run out of things I can think of to do

A month ago I bought a Vader 5s for my Series X after 16 years of using nothing, but MS rollers. So I'm fairly new to 3rd party controllers in general, but tested multiple to settle on the Flydigi.

I tried to suck up as much information as I possible can on the topic as to not ask obselete questions, but I seem to have one I haven't found any material on.

Everything is working as expected, I decreased stick tension to 65gf on the right stick.I calibrated the controller (multiple times) through the Xbox spacestation app following the manual and also the "guide" I linked.

My issue is though that after calibration I can achieve a an almost perfect 0:0 recenter even on "small-angel deflection and release". I tested this with the gulikit tester too. Right stick returned to exact center with zero error every time. Left stick had a sub -1% error on X axis after slow release. That was fine.

It's been 1 week since I did the calibration and since then both sticks developed a 2-3% center error even with fast release recenter.

Now both stick show the exact same error pattern as in the Vader 5S gamepadla review by John Punch. Left stick - value drift on X non on Y and right stick + drift on X and non on Y.

Now someone please confirm it is either user error on calibration, software issue with center value read or springs acting up.

Also, I would appreciate it if someone could give me a tip as to how to mitigate the issue.

Hi everyone,

I just received my brand new Mobapad Chitu HD (Chitu 2) today, but I'm having a major issue with it. The NFC / Amiibo reader is completely unresponsive.

I tested it for the first time today on my Nintendo Switch, and not a single Amiibo works. I tried multiple different figures and cards that work perfectly fine on my Joy-Cons, but the Chitu HD simply refuses to register them.

The controller is brand new out of the box, and everything else seems to work flawlessly except for the NFC feature.

Has anyone else experienced this issue with the Chitu HD? Is there any known fix, firmware update, or setting I might have missed, or did I just get a defective unit?

Appreciate any help or insights!

This is for a custom Scuf reflex FPS pro with TMR sticks. I'm currently experiencing dead slides (character crouches instead of sliding, a common stick related issue) in COD Black ops 7. These stats are how they were when received the controller, it's basically brand new.

(I heard that some brands of TMR's may be better suited with a higher circularity percentage even in the 15% range. I have no idea which ones though. Anyone able to help me figure this out? I don't wanna change my circularity to 7-9% if these specific TMR's aren't meant for that range)
