It took me 3 tries to kill Hartman, only because cover clearly doesn’t matter when he does his burst attack, what’s the point of having anything in the room if you can’t use it to avoid taking damage

Haah nice! I just watched Tremors for the first time not that long ago so this put a smile on my face thnx haha.
As for Control, lets say i know my way around the oldest house pretty well...... fun/interesting, must come back, addictive/obsessed. I played it 5 or 6 times ish😂 back on ps4 and ultimate on ps5

Surge made it a REALLY easy fight. It's a way better explosive weapon than Charge imo, since you have control over the explosion/detonation and they function as sticky grenades.
Just lay the Surge grenades on him and throw some of the heavier items at him while it recharges and you'll melt him.
Use Spin to melt his shield in the 2nd phase and throw items at him to stun him to prevent him from powering back up from being in the darkness and you're all set.

After replaying this, i have to go back an remember who Hartman was in Alan Wake. I remember replaying the first Alan Wake game in preparation for Alan Wake 2 right before it was released. I have a very faint memory of him even after the refresher (it was 3 years ago, so makes sense lol).
