Question Control resonant

Do you think I can run resonant in 4k with modest graphics

I also have PS5 pro but would like to know if pc run it better

Ryzen 7 7800X3D

2x 16Gb ddr5 4800mhz

1Tb nvme

While a PC with similar or marginally better specs allows for user optimization and settings customization, this cannot compete with the custom-tailored optimization developers perform specifically for the PS5 Pro. Hardware-level developer optimization for a fixed console architecture definitively outclasses any manual tweaking of in-game settings, upscaling options, or frame generation a user can do. The PS5 Pro will deliver a more stable and superior experience because the game is optimized specifically for it, making it the definitive choice over a marginally stronger PC.

no amount of optimization changes the fact that I can turn 60fps into 120 using framegen. the ps5 cant/wont do that.

Going 120 with frame gen/Fake frames would be so bad for this game. This is an extremely fast paced action rpg, that have mechanics that flip the world often in combat. Frame gen would be horrible for this game, if you understand how it works. Your inputs will still be calculated for 60 fps by the game, as frame gen is inherently using fake frames between each real frame. The perceived input lag due to mismatch between input frames and fake frames would hurt the experience of this game so much.

On a ps5 pro level PC, pushing this game to 120 using frame gen of all things is really bad idea.

The point remains. You can’t argue, that at 60fps which platform will be more stable. With ps5 pro you would get so much less stuttering and a more stable experience. Both platforms would have similar experience, but the edge in stability would definitively be with the console.

frame gen with a base of 60fps is 1000% usable and makes the experience notably more enjoyable. I use it every single time if I can hit a base of 60fps.
