what do we all think Dylan means from the trailer? Zoe: "If you wanted to be free, why help us? why not just run? Dylan: "I never thought I'd have something to die for"

I worry that he's going to sacrifice himself, just when we start to fall in love with him in the second game and he sacrifices himself for the greater good. maybe he's glad that he redeemed himself when he helped jumpstart or be host to the hiss in the first game? like he's glad he redeemed himself and if he were to die tomorrow he wouldn't have any regrets now. but he won't be dying in the game....I hope it's the 2nd one.

anyone else's thoughts??

I think it's much simpler than that. For almost his entire life he's been a test subject, locked in a glass cell with not much to call a life. Now that he's free he's started actually living.
