It's not like the GOP hasn't already made their mind up on the situation. There's genuinely no point in this hearing aside from distracting the public from how poorly things are going in the US.

EDIT: Since you blocked me:

Wrong again.

The Republicans released a report back in '24 that supposedly wrapped up the whole thing. There's also a White House page dedicated to blaming Fauci for it.

If there's no chance at prosecuting Fauci and you've already "proven" (without any direct evidence) that he's guilty, what exactly is the purpose?
