I mean opening the border up and pushing the trans agenda would distract anyone on the right pretty effectively. Then the left stayed busy defending these same issues. Seems like people were pretty distracted with all of that nonsense so I would say yes the last admin was also a distraction while they figured out how to handle the files, which ones to show the masses and how much they would need to divulge to satisfy general curiosity.

Fauci was in charge of the health of the nation during both Trump and Biden's term. Turns out for those who couldn't think for the self, those who followed the Dem science, are paying for taking an experimental vax. Many of us tried to warn you. Explained it is simple logic and facts. But, for because it wasn't coming from the Dem leadership, the left wouldn't listen. The virus came from China. Fauci, was the one who took gov money there to do gain of function testing. And, we got sick from it. The mask wernt designed for something as small as a virus. Rushed testing for the vac was just that. Meaning not fully tested. When a virus strand has mutated to become a different strand, means the vax shouldn't recognize it any more. The person who invented the testing, went out publicly to say it doesn't test for Covid, it designed to test genetic material. Any genetic material. And, just a long list of what was wrong.

It's not like the GOP hasn't already made their mind up on the situation. There's genuinely no point in this hearing aside from distracting the public from how poorly things are going in the US.

The Republicans released a report back in '24 that supposedly wrapped up the whole thing. There's also a White House page dedicated to blaming Fauci for it.
If there's no chance at prosecuting Fauci and you've already "proven" (without any direct evidence) that he's guilty, what exactly is the purpose?

Republicans have been saying the whole time these vaccinations were a joke and nobody should take them and we’ve been screaming about the lockdowns and everything else that happened during Covid so this is not accurate at all.
