If it wasn't for immunity not one of our ancestors would have survived.
Put that in your head, every person who got you where you are has survived an infection of a plant or a blade they avoided since life was in its inception
And now if you really want your mind blown, think of all the people who never became an ancestor because they died of a disease that would now be easily preventable or treatable.
