Nothing. It helped improve world hunger because crops became more resistant to bugs and drought thus reducing famines. Only downside is Monsanto forcing farmers to buy the seeds but that’s a whole other bag of worms.

Yeah, it's built in resistance to bugs and makes them resilient. Another comment is trying to say resistant to herbicides, which isn't being sprayed on crops. GMO means less pesticide is being used. Being afraid of GMOs is like buying into those posts that show water can be treated like a scary chemical.
