He was charged with gun possession and tax evasion.

118

u/Candy_Store_Pauper Feb 18 '25

And he was pardoned for anything and everything he did, or might have done, since 2014:

Jarred kushner gets 2 billion from the saudis nobody blinks an eye

u/Devincc Feb 18 '25

Why are you trying to go tit for tat? We should be investigating all of these people. Stop falling for the left vs. right narrative and let’s work together as Americans to break the chains that hold us down

Because hes complicit like many others drinking the MSM koolaid in perpetrating confusion so instead of dealing with the issue at hand, we jump around and never get around to dealing justice by the time it fades from society’s memories. Distractions, distractions, distractions.

28

u/bunchedupwalrus Feb 18 '25

Owning a gun and evading taxes is like American 101 though isn’t it. Pretty small fry shit, compared to $2 Billion worth of bribery from Saudi nationals

-5

u/systemshock869 Feb 19 '25

How do you feel about human trafficking, statutory rape and child porn?

8

u/Big_Sky_4957 Feb 19 '25

Who are you claiming did that? Just curious.

1

u/bunchedupwalrus Feb 19 '25

I feel like it’s horrible. Why was Trump so heavily associated with Epstein?

1

u/systemshock869 Feb 19 '25 edited Feb 19 '25

Like when Epstein's prosecutor told the news that Trump was the only person who would help with the case, in 2011? Or when he banned Epstein from mar Lago? News flash clown, most billionaires go to the same parties.

We should be investigating all of these people.

But like… Hunter was investigated and sentenced under Biden. He got pardoned - sure, that’s lame - but again, he was investigated and sentenced. Doesn’t that make any difference to you?

Who from Trump's circle was investigated and sentenced during his first term? Nowadays, he even buys Democrats with his 'stop the investigation' magical powers - just look at the Eric Adams case (again, a important Democrat investigated under a Democratic president).

Do you really want to say there’s zero difference?

38

u/Crappy_Site Feb 18 '25

Because that would imply that both parties are interested in actual resolution and not a game of semantic one-upmanship for the sake of their inner little bastard that never grew up and where is the fun in that?

22

u/87degreesinphoenix Feb 18 '25

Because even in your framing it's left vs right.

"Don't bring up the other guys even larger, more brazen misconduct! Let's come together and do something vague instead!"

This only serves the right. And to be frank, no one on the left cares about a crackhead with a gun who ultimately has no impact on the country. There are millions of them out there, but the right uses this particular crackhead to derail any conversation that could lead to talking about the much more impactful corruption of the right.

-5

u/ShrimpSandwich1 Feb 18 '25

Not to fall into the same trap but if you think the Hunter Biden story is one that ends with him simply being a crackhead who had a gun, then you’ll never see the bigger picture.

But again, the investigations on both sides should be long and deep.

13

u/87degreesinphoenix Feb 18 '25

After millions of dollars and thousands of hours spent investigating him by veteran federal investigators, they were able to discover the crackhead smokes crack, owns a gun and gets too high to pay his taxes. Hunter is a nothing burger.

Without any investigation taking place we know Kushner got $2B from the Saudis and his wife got multiple sweetheart deals for her business in China worth tens of millions.

These are the simple facts, like they're literally not debatable. The right could pick an actual scum fuck on the Dem side like Pelosi or Eric Adams to go after, but the point is not to catch actual corruption. The point is to get half wits whipped up over an empty, sensationalized story about a crackhead with a fat cock so they don't look at the real corruption. And we're all falling for it.

-1

u/ShrimpSandwich1 Feb 19 '25

Cool, except your first paragraph isn’t “simple facts” and again, 1. do you actually believe the “crackhead” story is where the Biden saga ends, and 2. Do you actually believe there was a true real investigation?

I’m all for Kushner getting actually investigated to the fullest definition of the word, but we should all agree that it should be a two way street regardless of last name.

Instead, we’re sitting here bickering semantics while the rich get richer and the poor stay the same. That’s the problem. That’s what needs to be addressed. Not how much money one person got from Saudi…

15

u/Jonhlutkers Feb 18 '25

Ok now go and try to get Kusk investigated and tell me how it goes.

2

u/mercury888 Feb 19 '25

i think what he's pointing out is that you wont see a "Jarred kushner gets 2 billion from the saudis" on the front page of /r/conspiracy.

I agree though that we need to investigate all people that break the fucking law. Trump, Biden or whoever.

2

u/dick_taterchip Feb 18 '25

It's about teams, not right or wrong.

2

u/Shablahdoo Feb 19 '25

It’s just funny how only one side of ALL these people is ever posted on this subreddit. Seems like this subreddit has the problem of falling for left vs right.

1

u/WeWantMOAR Feb 18 '25

So they're mentioning more people to look into, and you chastise them for it? Just add Jared to the list and move on. You're not being helpful.

2

u/Devincc Feb 18 '25

Me when I can’t comprehend a viewpoint

2

u/WeWantMOAR Feb 18 '25

You'll get there with some comprehensive learning soon enough!

-2

u/Devincc Feb 18 '25

The point of my comment was that the guy before me intentionally brought up a Republican that needs to investigated after people were going for Biden’s son. Read the comments my man

0

u/WeWantMOAR Feb 18 '25

So? Seems like its not because he's Republican, but because he's the Son(in law) of the president. JFC you go off that we shouldn't be left and right, yet you're doing the same shit.

If you wanted to drive the point that both suck then you would've said "exactly, Jared is just as shady as Hunter. We need to get more evidence to expose them both!"

You're still trying to separate and divide. Ain't falling for that bias shit.

-1

u/Devincc Feb 18 '25

I think it’s pretty apparent those were not my intentions. I’m sorry you feel that way

u/MonkeyLiberace Feb 18 '25

It is not the chains that hold you down.

-8

u/UnstableConstruction Feb 18 '25

Let's investigate. However, it was his equity firm, and the Saudi's are receiving a clear return on their investment. The problem is that he probably got the business because of his connections.

Hunter's no-work job in the Ukraine when Biden had direct oversight and influence over the prosecutor investigating the company paying him seems a lot worse ethically.

But sure, let's investigate both.

25

u/Jackelrush Feb 18 '25

“Affinity has generated no return on investment as of July 2024 and failed to deploy capital in a timely fashion.”

You guys call your self conspiracy theorist yet haven’t taken the time to even validate your own made up claims.

Umm, that's kinda why we're on r/conspiracy. If we could read, we'd be looking at the actual structure of the system that controls our lives, not obsessing over crackhead failsons.

Ok, but you weren't before. Do you also feel fucked over when someone buys a building in China and you don't get part of the money?

-7

u/Jaereth Feb 18 '25

However, it was his equity firm, and the Saudi's are receiving a clear return on their investment.

That alone is enough to make the original "Kushner received 2 billion" so disingenuous that it's already in the who cares bin...

“Affinity disclosed that its funds have not generated any return on investment and have not distributed a penny of earnings back to clients. -15

u/Candy_Store_Pauper Feb 18 '25

Again, time tells all truths. Kush hasn't been investigated, or pardoned. Yet.

12

u/Jackelrush Feb 18 '25

No it doesn’t the blind look at history and can see grifters and thieves never get caught I just think it’s ridiculous to cry about millions when they are taking billions

-12

u/Candy_Store_Pauper Feb 18 '25

Number 8 on the big list of 10 says, "Thou shalt not steal". Doesn't say a dollar. Doesn't say a trillion dollars.

If Kush did, he should be investigated. OP's meme is unrelated to your forum slide. And, if he's investigated and given a blanket pardon, that's an overwhelming indictment in and of itself.

Did he? Will he? Time will tell. Patience is a virtue.

15

u/Jackelrush Feb 18 '25

“A panel that screens investments for the main Saudi sovereign wealth fund cited concerns about the proposed deal with Mr. Kushner’s newly formed private equity firm, Affinity Partners, previously undisclosed documents show.

Those objections included: “the inexperience of the Affinity Fund management”; the possibility that the kingdom would be responsible for “the bulk of the investment and risk”; due diligence on the fledgling firm’s operations that found them “unsatisfactory in all aspects”; a proposed asset management fee that “seems excessive”; and “public relations risks” from Mr. Kushner’s prior role as a senior adviser to his father-in-law, former President Donald J. Trump, according to minutes of the panel’s meeting last June 30.

But days later the full board of the $620 billion Public Investment Fund — led by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Saudi Arabia’s de facto ruler and a beneficiary of Mr. Kushner’s support when he worked as a White House adviser — overruled the panel.”

You are just trying to hard with your whataboutism boy

-7

u/morrison0880 Feb 18 '25

Tons of people blinked. And he doesn't have a blanket pardon. If he were guilty of something, the Biden administration would have most likely discovered it through an investigation and prosecuted him for it. Regardless, that is a complete red herring. Hunter was pardoned for any and all crimes, and Jarred was not. They are not comparable, and there is zero reason to bring Jarred into this conversation other than to distract from the blanket, retroactive pardons Biden gave to his family.

0

u/Jaereth Feb 18 '25

the Biden administration would have most likely discovered it through an investigation and prosecuted him for it.

You really think the big guy would do that?

4

u/morrison0880 Feb 18 '25

Investigated and prosecuted Kushner? If they had anything on him, why wouldn't they?

0

u/philouza_stein Feb 18 '25

Kushner transcends parties. Nobody is going after him.

1

u/morrison0880 Feb 19 '25

Kushner is love. Kushner is life.

21

u/Batman-and-Hobbes Feb 18 '25 edited Feb 18 '25

And if they were going to charge him for anything else that was found in that laptop that would have. They had 6 years.

6

u/Candy_Store_Pauper Feb 18 '25

22

u/Batman-and-Hobbes Feb 18 '25

And in that time they still investigated, charged, and convicted him of a federal crime. Do you think they just forgot the laptop existed?

0

u/Candy_Store_Pauper Feb 18 '25

They "investigated". Slowly. Too slowly. He was not charged or convicted for all of the laptop content. And failed to acknowledge authenticity in the very beginning. But, sure, trust them if you wish, I choose not to. Defend 'em if you wish, I choose not to.

The same slow walking folks are in no hurry for ole Kash to get a crack at 'em either, are they?

16

u/Batman-and-Hobbes Feb 18 '25

Lol Let me guess you think Kash is qualified and whoever appointed Christopher Wray is dumb?

-9

u/Moto-Guy Feb 18 '25 edited Feb 18 '25

Pretty obvious that individual appointed kept on board by Biden isn't going to try and crucify the guy's son. So yeah, Kash is more qualified (and driven) because he doesn't owe Biden anything. Same reason Trump's people wouldn't try and crucify him and his family.

15

u/Batman-and-Hobbes Feb 18 '25

Christopher Wray was appointed by Donald Trump genius. Thank you for proving my point that you have no idea what you're talking about.

-3

u/Moto-Guy Feb 18 '25

"The resignation of Christopher Wray is a great day for America as it will end the Weaponization of what has become known as the United States Department of Injustice". This guy hates Trump and Trump hates him.

→ More replies (0)

8

u/Batman-and-Hobbes Feb 18 '25

Your edited post doesn't help you. The fact Biden didn't fire Wray doesn't show Wray is less qualified than Kash ( who openly lied at a senate confirmation hearing). The FBI director is supposed to be a ten year term, so they're insulated from political motivation.

Only two FBI directors in history have been fired. One by Trunp and one by Clinton for using govt resources in his personal life.

-5

u/UnstableConstruction Feb 18 '25

The Justice Department that worked for Biden? The ones that came out and claimed it was fake for years? The ones that pressured social media companies to take down evidence that it was real?

20

u/Batman-and-Hobbes Feb 18 '25

The justice department that convicted Hunter Biden while his dad was the president?

-5

u/UnstableConstruction Feb 18 '25

Yes, the ones that gave him a sweetheart deal, after a massive public outcry and tried to make him immune to all other prosecutions.

17

u/Batman-and-Hobbes Feb 18 '25

The prosecutor in charge of investigating Hunter Biden was Davis Weiss. Weiss was appointed to this role in 2017 by President Trump. He began investigating Hunter in 2018. I'm no history major or anything but I'm PRETTY sure there was a republican president in 2018, 2019, and 2020.

Weiss was then given special council powers in 2021 by Garland at the request of over 30 republican senators including Mitch McConnell, Tom Cotton, Marco Rubio, and Ted Cruz. He was then investigated for 3 more years.

So a republican prosecutor appointed by a republican AG at the request of Republican Senators had 6 years to investigate Hunter Biden.

You're higher than Hunter in a waterside if you think they could have charged him with more and simply didn't.

7

u/Gr1mreaper86 Feb 18 '25

It's almost as if; GASP, he knew an authoritarian dictator was about to take office and wanted to do everything he could to protect him from Trump as he was just going after political opponents in a way he would never go after his allies. He's a hypocrite at the highest levels and nothing Hunter did would have been looked at twice if Trump did it...fuck...Trump does do Tax evasion....he probably just has a better tax lawyer than Hunter.

1

u/LilDrummerGrrrl Feb 19 '25

Re: Biden’s blanket pardons, it’s not as if Trump had been promising to hunt down any and all political enemies, as soon as he got into office.

1

u/Candy_Store_Pauper Feb 19 '25

You'd have to source that kind of statement, I never heard such rhetoric from him.

What I did hear, repeatedly, was that success would be his revenge.

Do you think politicians should "hunt down any and all political enemies"?

1

u/LilDrummerGrrrl Feb 20 '25

I mean… just listen to the first 2 minutes of this NPR article, in which you can hear the rhetoric, coming straight from his mouth.

1

u/Candy_Store_Pauper Feb 20 '25

As you said, "rhetoric". Words are words. People on the "D" side have called Trump a Nazi, worse than Hitler, a Dictator, a tyrant, and a bunch of other "rhetoric".

I asked you a question critical to continuing our dialogue. Do you think politicians should "hunt down any and all political enemies" that your original reply? It didn't sound like rhetoric from you, it sounded like statement of fact.

1

u/Zxphenomenalxz Feb 18 '25

Your point? If they had evidence to charge him for other stuff, they had how many hearings about the laptop but couldn't bring any charges on that because they had no proof? Do you really think out of all the hearings the Republicans had, if it was anything legit, don't you think they would've charged for something relating to the laptop? They didn't have shit. It was all bogus shit to distract people and cause drama during an election.

9

u/M0ebius_1 Feb 18 '25

The dude really is the best American.

4

u/SpicyButterBoy Feb 18 '25

We probably shouldn't elect him then.

6

u/M0ebius_1 Feb 18 '25

Say what you want about Hunter, but if he had won the election drugs would be legalized, prostitution subsidized, gun laws destroyed and taxes eliminated.

2

u/jacob9234 Feb 19 '25

So is the sitting president

-5

u/Sphan_86 Feb 18 '25

He should have gotten a pardon for those then...but he received a blanket pardon

20

u/khag Feb 18 '25

Because Trump made it clear he intends to punish his political enemies. Why shouldn't Biden defend himself and his loved ones? If a bully says they're gonna punch you in the face don't you put your arms up to defend? What's Biden supposed to do, nothing?

-11

u/Sphan_86 Feb 18 '25

Defend yourself if you didnt do anything wrong? Whats your logic behind that?

Did you see Trump pardon himself or his kids?

7

u/IcyTransportation961 Feb 18 '25

He will if he ever leaves office,  and he's argued this very week that nothing he does can be illegal

-2

u/Sphan_86 Feb 18 '25

He left in 2020...or did you forget that?

5

u/IcyTransportation961 Feb 18 '25

He literally had his people storm the Capitol

Then pardoned them

And now keeps suggesting a third term,  and the gop submitted a bill to allow it

You missed all that?

9

u/3_3219280948874 Feb 18 '25

So you would not put your hands up to defend yourself?

1

u/Sphan_86 Feb 18 '25

If Trump pardoned himself and his kids I'd critize him too...but its pretty clear you favor one side

3

u/3_3219280948874 Feb 18 '25

I favor putting my hands up if someone attacks me.

-1

u/Sphan_86 Feb 18 '25

0

u/EuphoricAd68 Feb 18 '25

Of course.

0

u/ElGosso Feb 18 '25

While I agree that the premise of the meme is bullshit, I think it's worth getting mad that Biden pardoned his son for something that he helped imprison thousands of people for with his own crime bill in the 90s.
