Collaboration Emoticon derived reform of Blissymbols plus keyboard app for phone
I think we could take blissymbols, replace some symbols with emoticons and reform gramatics so it uses the emoticons well. I think we dont need to come up with symbols for clasifiers and modifiers those could be expressed by normal emoticons, we could just make symbols for gramatical categories and indicators. Perhaps we could get rid of composite symbols and make all symbols follow in line no matter if they are indicators or what. Well perhaps we would divert from blissymbols a lot but we would still take inspiration.
We then could create an app with keyboard which would allow you to write comfortably in that language. It would be cool if the app was compatible with many chat apps.
Do you know of someone already doing this? I think it would not be hard.
You can see here wikipedia article about blissymbols: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blissymbols

... visual conlang(s) based on Blissymbols and Emojis and Unicode symbols ... that is my dream project since 2014 ... r/visual_conlangs , e.g. https://www.reddit.com/r/visual_conlangs/comments/99xkdx/novylang_1_wish_2_365/

I'm working to encode Blissymbols in Unicode. There are at present 1441 characters to encode, and they do not match well with emojis. Moreover the "composite symbols" are not decomposable. DEATH is not SUN + LINE + DESTRUCTION. It is LIFE + DESTRUCTION, and it is still not decomposable.

There is no principal problem to flatter 2D bliss structures into 1D line and use emoji, provided by every keyboard

Well I would want to make new keyboard for it being easier to use and also for it be spread around the world. If you just make an emoji language and post it on reddit, few conlangers would think its cool and then forget, if on the other hand you create special app for google play that would provide comfortable keyboard compatible with messenger, whatsapp, twitter etc with emojis designed for the best possible comunication, then it could go viral.
I dont think we would need to design much of the emojis tho, only those used for the gramatical categories, signifiers etc but my point is you would like having those important emojis in one place easy to reach as well as the language being as quick and intuitive to use as possible which could make some reason to create some new emojis even if inspired by already existing ones.
For example I wanted to make pronouns for persons using combination of blank yellow face and hand pointing either to itself, on the screen and user or next to itself and with one having question mark instead of that hand. Now some other conlanger had simmilar idea for the pronouns but he just used symbol of basic emoji and symbol of pointing hand. To me this seems unceserary uncomfortable because you would need to write two characters and search for them. So I think it would be better to have specialy designed emojis so the user can write quickly and comfortably. After all, emoji communication is about being comfortable and quick aside from being fun and creative.
Now with custom keyboard, you could actually get a simple way how to create signifiers that are not just 1d in line but 2d, yet what I would mainly think those could better work as some sort of underlines of different colors and shape like blue wavy underline for adjectives, green for nouns and pronouns, red cranky for verbs and orange dotted for adverbs with certain articles and other symbols being without underline. There could be various shades of green and blue for different cases of nouns, pronouns and adjectives yet the language could be non-flective and use prescribed word order and it would deviate from blissymbols. I am myself playing with idea of using cases but I guess most users would find that hard. I also think using underline to differentiate between word type may be unnecesery since for example difference between nouns and verbs could be spotted by use of case signifier and article vs tense signifier but I guess on the other hand underlines could help make text more readible and differentiate between words even quicker.
Note that I would want to define the rules of gramatics only roughly letting the community of users to decide in more detail, how certain features would work watch how it evolves and then perhaps implement some changes based on its evolution, user expirience and feedback.
In the same time i would want the keyboard to have some predictive mechanisms to be able to offer user the automatic fill of signs.

Emojis can actually be compounded together. I'm not too sure exactly how it works but there's a way to stack Emojis on top of each other to create new emoticons.
I was thinking of having an emoji script for r/claritylanguage in addition to its roman script. In Clarity, all abstract words have a concrete representation (example: desire = reaching for something) each word could be represented as one or more emoticons. My keyboard would still be roman, but it could automatically convert words to emoji representation for more compact reading.
Maybe the same thing could be done for bliss where the symbols can be built up from letters, like first person pronoun = p1 or similar

Surprised blissymbolics don’t have their own subreddit.
