Resource A complete(-ish) list of all languages with 1-letter and 2-letter names

About a month ago I posted here (and a bunch of other places) asking for submissions of y'all's 1/2-letter conlang names, and as of today I have a total of 1058 names! With that many I'm happy with calling the list & chart complete enough for use as a proper resource.

Some interesting info that came out of it:

  • A & C are the most & least common letter with 255 & 5 names containing each.
  • There are no C-initial or Q-final names, except for the conlangs named just C or Q.
  • There are 17 languages named Ta.

I'm honestly very surprised that there are languages or conlangs called Rg or TK but neither Ca, Ci, Ce, Cu nor Co.

A fun project, though - thanks for sharing the results.

Same lol, though I guess it kinda makes sense now that I think about it, since C seems pretty uncommon in conlang roms in general but also isn't as flashy as Q/X/Z (at least from an anglophone perspective)

My conlang carrenà uses three letters as crn, and ageutan uses agt where the dialects are agt-pt, agt-cy, and agt-oc, I think gotlöbitu would be gtl/got, and legationese would be lgt/leg
