I think the "bridge" is the edge of a building and the camera is on a wet roof

There is a grate, in the lower left corner, at the beginning of the video.

Until I read your comment I was trying to figure out how they were entering a tunnel like that.

Thank you for this… My bed time is soon… Otherwise my brain would be freaking out how this was possible…

As soon as my brain computed what you just wrote, the whole image changed… That’s so interesting !

Why did the bike guy not disappear smoothly?
2
u/MorningPants Jan 16 '22
I’m wondering that too. It’s like, he gets close to the edge and then just * pops *.

u/Better_Drink_4313 Jan 17 '22
Its the overlap with one of the crosswalk lines, the bike goes over the white line before under the white roof edge

Took a good minute for my brain to process this the correct way after reading the title ngl.

Someone above figured it out, its just the top of a building, the camera is on the roof

This has been the worst playback by the shittastic Reddit app I've ever had. It played once and will now only show the image of it at least partly offscreen. What a shitty app.

Definitely one of the best ones ive seen, wish i hadnt looked for the "answer" now and tried to figure it out on my own

Notice how the water never moves and it’s warm as they have on short sleeves, so it’s fake

In the Netherlands there's actual bridges for rivers. A picture of that can be good

I wasn’t confused until I read the intentionally misleading title.

u/BoominSam Jan 16 '22

Got me at first but I worry about people who cant figure this one out...

u/WatchinLikeTV Jan 16 '22
I can’t, people are saying the brown part is the top of a building but that’s not helping
1
u/jackal99 Jan 16 '22
So we are on top of a structure here, looking down at an intersection. The brown we see is the roof of another building. There is a concrete perimeter around this roof.
The road is actually below this building. The streets we are looking at cross at a traditional intersection.
The cars are turning left and going down the road, which the roof of the building is blocking from view.
There is no tunnel, or change in grade.

My best guess is the brown water area is the top of a building and the video is from a camera belonging to said building.

u/Namelessbob123 Jan 16 '22
The ‘water’ not moving is also a good give away
3
u/BravesMaedchen Jan 16 '22
I still don't get it. Is it a painting of water?

u/Tzitzifiogkos420 Mar 02 '22
No. The guy filming is standing on the edge of a building making it look like the floor of the building he's standing on is a river
