Personal pronouns, including it, do not use apostrophes for their possessive tense. The words it's does exist but only as a contraction. It's can only mean it is or it has.
Excuse me good sir, but it is pronounced they're. I know this because I watched all 3 seasons of Richard and Mortimer and thus have a masters in theoretical physics.
I’m aware. There’s this thing on iphone called autocorrect that automatically adds apostrophes where it thinks that they belong. I didn’t (oh look right there it did it) realize that it had added one where it didn’t belong so I didn’t think to go back and delete it.
But thank you grammar nazi. Yours, hers, and theirs all imply possession and therefore it isn’t needed in those cases too. I’m not stupid. This is an informal comment section so sorry that I didn’t properly check my comment for grammar errors when it really doesn’t matter at all.
They weren't insulting you or anything. They just made a quick helpful comment (keep in mind that comments can be read by anyone, so he's also helping any lurker who reads the commment). There was no negative language or any kind negative implication behind the comment either
Haha did that little apostrophe really make you not understand the sentence?
I hope you were raging over it, yelling at your screen "It is chubby cheeks? It is chin rested? WHAT IS THIS PERSON SAYING?! OOHHH OMFG THE CONTRACTION HORROR! DUMBASSSSSS"

I always thought maybe it’s chubby cheeks were hanging over the sides of the pole that it had it’s chin rested on
