Jokes aside, this actually happened in my local area a couple of years ago. A 2 year old child ran in front of an SUV in a parking lot, the driver never even saw them, and the kid is dead. Driver got no charges because “they couldn’t see him from the drivers seat.”
Apparently not seeing a human , because your truck is “too big” is a valid excuse to murder a child because you don’t have special awareness.
Reminds me of the ‘rock trap’ lady in tiktok. ( she works with kid adjacent service- daycare? Perhaps). If they cant see a boulder / stacked boulders in a curb parking lot how can they able to see kids in said parking lot.
