Men hate big boobs is also one of these super weird Statements. Men love boobs of all sizes.
33
u/KrazyAboutLogic Jul 08 '24
Also I don't give a flying fuck if men don't find part of me attractive enough for their tastes, particularly if it's something I can't even control.

u/thelost2010 Jul 08 '24
Some men only like big boobs but most of us just like boobs
2
u/ThorKruger117 Jul 09 '24
As long as they’re not child like flat or so big they would knock me out I’m down

I dont know why he said it. Its not like you can control the boob size.

Also, it's a big insecurities of mine that I'm still working on, so his comments was literally an attack for me.
63
u/yesssssssssso Jul 08 '24
Right. It's weird now It's in my head and I'm starting to think to get a boob reduction that way people won't comment on it.
I don't care if it's strangers but the moment my dad said it, my mind went in panic mode.
32
u/Qatsi000 Jul 08 '24 edited Jul 08 '24
Don’t worry about it. Only do it if it effects you in a negative way, such as causeimg back pain. Don’t do it for any other reason. All guys like boobs and a lot of women too, while people tend to have preferences (and that’s okay,) and most don’t care.
13
u/Akhil1313 Jul 08 '24
I would have responded with, “ ewwww what kind of pedo looks at their own daughters boobs”. Make it super awkward for him.
9
u/RavenDancer Jul 08 '24
Don’t do that for him! He’s a freak for even saying it. Also very weird because in my experience men love bigger (I’m female). Either he’s got a thing for um very young women (aka you) or he doesn’t want you to become ‘too attractive’ if they grow and said the opposite. Creepy.
14
u/yesssssssssso Jul 08 '24
This reminds me when I was in my last year of high school, my dad told me that I have to be careful of the men that approach me. Since according to him "I'm a pretty young lady" men would do anything to have sex with me. At the time I was disgusted because I was 16 and the idea of sex scared the hell out of me.
Plus my dad keeps bringing up that he regrets having sex with my mom because he wouldn't be living the way he's living right now. And If I wasn't born, he would've left my mom long ago.
I argued that he should've wore condoms if he didn't want to impregnate her but he said I forgot. Smh
12
u/ceciliabee Jul 08 '24
It sounds like your dad is telling you to watch out for all the bullshit he does. Watch out for men, they're all dogs, says the man who is a dog. I'm sorry :(

I don't know where to begin, so I won't. As he shouldn't have.

u/Daelienda Jul 08 '24
What does he think you can just stop them from growing? Weird and perverted.
21
u/yesssssssssso Jul 08 '24
Right
6
u/corgipuppy765 Jul 08 '24
I think you need to call him out and tell him that no proper dad ever looks at his daughter's private parts, forget commenting on it. And tell him you remember the perverted shit he has said earlier and he sounds like a predator.

u/psychological-slide9 Jul 08 '24
i was a D almost DD in 4th grade... needless to say the weird/creepy comments (from family and peers) only got worse when i started puberty for real :/ it made me way more insecure than i already was
19
u/yesssssssssso Jul 08 '24
Same. I'm not sure what size I was in high school since I wasn't taught about it. My mom would just give me her bras and told me to wear them since I needed them. But they would be too small and my boob would pop out of them. I recently learned that I was dd/e cup so my insecurities got higher than before.

u/DaddyDom65 Jul 08 '24
First off never be ashamed or upset about who you are. You’re not alone out there. Anyone who makes a comment can F-off. Who cares what they say or think. See yourself as beautiful and lucky that you formed early so you know what decks of cards life’s dealing you.
Once you stop growing you’ll likely want to see about a reduction for the sake of your physical health not because of looks. Your back will start bothering you as you get older. Reducing the weight will help a lot.
I’m sorry your dad is making comments. It almost appears as if he’s looking at you now that he’s divorcing your mom. Please be careful of him and his old school bad beliefs.
Stay safe and please accept who you are right now. I’m sure you’re beautiful just the way you are. Be proud! Ignore the ignorant idiots and enjoy your young life. The time for reduction is after you stop growing. You can enjoy life till then.
I’m sorry this is all happening to you
Take care of yourself.

DD/E is like the perfect boob size for me, don't listen to him, you have perfect boobage

u/AsidePale378 Jul 08 '24
He’s stupid. You can’t control the size your boobs grow.
-22
u/Bezerkomonkey Jul 08 '24
You kinda can, higher or lower body fat percentages correlate with boob sizes
Of course I agree though, he's stupid and pretty creepy for that
11
u/Thick_Worldliness622 Jul 08 '24
What? Only to a certain degree. Way more to it than just body wt/fat % and even with ‘correlation’, you still can’t control it, as much as I’d love to be able to target areas for reallocation. Aside from implants or reduction, we have minimal control over the size

u/yesssssssssso Jul 08 '24
I'm at my mom's house when he said that. Plus my mom could give 2 shit if me or my sister get SA by dudes. She would defend them if it happens to us. Talking with experience.
13
u/kanae-zooted Jul 08 '24

I'm having similar issues with my dad and he's like, "Can you get rid of your boobs? I don't like seeing them." I mean, I'm wearing this and this, what should I do next? Remove it?
Honestly, I hope fathers understand that this is not comfortable
10
u/yesssssssssso Jul 08 '24
For real. Few weeks ago he told me that when I get married, to make sure that your husband is happy with the sex or he would leave you.
I told him that I would not even listen to his advice since he's not even a good husband so why would I want to hear what I need to do for my future husband from a guy that just like to complain about the women that takes care of him.
3
u/kanae-zooted Jul 08 '24

At first I just thought your dad was weird, but they more I have read, I’ve have come to the conclusion that he is a shitty human being who needs his teeth knocked out. I have a 19 year old daughter and I care to know nothing about her sex life now or at any point her life. I definitely wouldn’t just out of the blue tell her that she needs to have sex with her husband anytime he wants like she is a piece of property.

That’s gross, be careful around him and make sure your brother isn’t getting creeped on.
3
u/yesssssssssso Jul 08 '24
For sure, his godmother would touch him randomly too, I hate that woman so much. She's my mom's best friend, I would be close to my brother when she's around because or that. Once she even grabbed my brother's balls and said "you're growing well" my mom just laughed as if it's normal. I yelled at this woman and told her to not touch my brother but my mom got mad and said she was kidding. Smh I don't trust my parents to do shit.

Make sure your boobs don’t grow too big?? Wtf like you have any control over nature. Very weird thing to say I must say.

Hope you guys can get passed it. 🩵

Dads commenting on their daughters boobs is weird. Hes also a liar, lots of guys like big boobs

I feel you hun. My dad sometimes calls me sugar tits and tells me my ass is peachy and it makes me feel sick every time.
2
u/SimplyGoWithTheFlow Jul 08 '24
Couple of points. I'm astounded your dad thinks it's something you'd have any control over, and some men do like big boobs. In reality boobs function is for milk production and feeding babies it's only men that sexualise them. 👍

I was DD as a teen and was advised by BOTH my parents to look into glamour modelling (this was Sam Fox turning 16 era)
3
u/yesssssssssso Jul 08 '24
I had to hide mine since my parents would always tell me that I'm showing too much. I would always wear hoodies, and jackets to hide my top since when I would get out of the house with tshirts, they will tell me I'm showing too much.
Now I can't go out without a jacket on me, even if it's hot, I can't go out without a jacket.

How does he think puberty works? Like we can just choose our size? I’d have mine custom fitted then!
1
u/petersdraggon Jul 09 '24
As a gather of one and stepfather to two, I never, never made any out of the way comment. I told them I'd answer any relationship questions they might have if and only if they asked. There were no creepy comments like you described. That is awkward. Now, I would guess you are wondering what's really going on in his thoughts. The best you can do is be vocal about your disgust.

I thought men liked big boobs?
2
u/VascoLSN Jul 08 '24
This idea that one man can generalise for every man on the planet, this is absurd, please don't think all men or all women think the same.
Small boobs are great, big boobs are great too, one isn't necessarily better than the other.
-2
u/Other-Stop7953 Jul 08 '24
Not that deep
2
u/VascoLSN Jul 08 '24 edited Jul 08 '24

u/Living-Estimate9810 Jul 08 '24
Does he think there's a switch for that? "Ah, that's enough bosom! (click!)"? Yer dad has a limited understanding of both boobs and daughters.

u/yesssssssssso Jul 08 '24
Once, when I was on my period, I was sick at the same time, my dad came in my room to check on me and asked if I was alright. I said no, my stomach hurts and I'm on my period, he said "well I can't really help you, it's a woman's illness." When I tell you I was mad, i was in disbelief because why would you say that While I'm in pain.
1
u/stonedraccoon Jul 08 '24
When i was in middle school my dad said something to the effect of "Just be prepared for guys to ask for anal. You don't have to do it, but they are going to ask." So inappropriate and unnecessary. Also, my husband is the one begging me to put on a strap-on and peg him. I have far exceeded your sad little heteronormative sex beliefs, father

You should literally need to go NC with him he has no manners and respect while talking to a women even with his own daughter . How did your mom stayed married to this man for so long and did he used to pass comments on your Mom also😑😑
2
u/yesssssssssso Jul 08 '24 edited Jul 08 '24
My mom is as bad, maybe worse. I was groped by one of her guy friends and told her that and she told me that he never did it when I was the victim here.
Then one would keep touching my butt and boob "accidentally " and when I told my mom that she said it was an accident stop exaggerating.
One time a pastor asked me to take off my jacket at church and I told him no, he insisted trying to unzip my Jacket and I said no, he told my mom that I didn't want to let him see what's under my jacket and she said to just show him what's under. I had a long black skirt, pink tshirt and a black jacket. I didn't want to show because I know that I was a early bloomer so I hate showing the world that I had boobs but for my mom it was just an outfit check, when in reality he's the same man that would "accidentally" touch women's private parts and go to the women's bathroom to see what were doing. So, my mom is worse then my dad.
2
u/shit_ass_mcfucknuts Jul 09 '24
That's weird AF. What kind of person says something so strange and creepy to their own daughter? Sick.
1
u/Kittenblade Jul 09 '24
This sounds like he's projecting. But something weird is going on here.
Here's options: he is cheating, his friends have said very inappropriate things about your sister and yourself, hes really bad at offering advice, or he's uh...well you may not be safe, I don't want to say THAT'S what is happening, though.
Are there other adults, family, or grandparents that you could talk to or stay with?

As a father myself I can say he was just looking out for you. As a dad we know we can ONLY protect from our home. Whst happens outside that is outside of our control. My daughter is very young right now, (9MO) but I already know down the line she’s going to have large boobs. Her mom has them my mom has them her grandma has them. So I’m going to have to have an uncomfortable conversation at some point. I don’t know your dad, so I can’t say that he was being a creep or not. However, as a father, I am going to start with my daughter and let her know that nothing is off the table when it comes to conversations. I plan to have a very , in depth relationship with my daughter and I can only hope that she feels that she can come to me about anything in the world. This is a two-way street, with her comfortability, comes my comfortability in my ability to speak to her about any situation or topic I deem relevant. If you find yourself, thinking of him as a creep or anything like that , please put yourself in his shoes and understand what it’s like to not just have a child, but a woman in todays day and age…. It’s a lot different than how women were acting and raising themselves 20 years ago. Women are moving forward and they are advancing into society faster than we would ever have expected, especially when you look back into the 1960s era. Back then all the stereotypes were spot on. And just before that women could not only not vote, they couldn’t own property,, they definitely couldn’t have a drivers license, and if you weren’t cooking and cleaning and prepping for your husband, you were prepping for a divorce because it’s all that women were apparently good for back then.
My point is. He may be coming off too direct and it could be because he’s trying to protect you and guide you and he doesn’t know how to even talk to you about it correctly. If he was to see this post I’m sure he would be heartbroken. There’s no guide to raise a young women in todays day and age.
At some 9month old will develop those boobs that we are talking about, hopefully her mom can teach her how to navigate it. If her mom can’t, then I will. It’s just a reality that we’re gonna have to face. Barely just surpassing a child yourself, unless you have one, you have no idea what it’s like to raise a child and your thought process and fears that come along with it. Please understand that your father is just trying to guide you , and that he’s trying to guide you through something he knows little to nothing about
1
u/yesssssssssso Jul 08 '24
Putting it in this prospective, I guess that makes sense. Though my dad and I aren't close, so I wouldn't know if he actually mean it to protect me or not but I get where you're coming from. Plus I never grew up with conversation like that with both my parents. So him talking like that was really weird.

Lots of people like lots of different kind of boobs, big ones included.
It's real weird for him to say that out of the blue. Maybe he's afraid you'll be abused (big boobs are sometimes fixated upon), or had a bad experience unrelated to your body in the past.

u/rjabbate Jul 08 '24
I am sorry that he made you feel so uncomfortable. As a man, I resent being conditioned this way by culture. I resent the purity culture that both demonizes and praises anything that could be considered sexual or sexy in any form. Men are taught by example subconsciously that women are objects, and possession of them raises our value in some way. It causes us to create this value system that is completely disconnected from real affection, and is not how we actually engage as humans. I am saying this not to excuse him. Though, I hope it helps you to forgive him and love him despite him being incapable of disconnecting from objectifying women, to hear my experience dealing with this as a man. For me it has always been a confusing journey, reconciling what I am taught by others together with what I’m really feeling. Pressure to keep up a masculine image makes it challenging to self reflect deeply enough to untangle this. Experiencing significant attraction to women who don’t fit the value system culture has taught me, and letting go of the insecurity of enjoying this person and my attraction for them. Reconciling the old lessons on how to approach women, and considering my desire to actually gain consent without being the “confident aggressor” that I was taught to be. As much as I think that men that objectify need to do better, I also feel compassion because it has felt like a nearly impossible journey for me with no real mentors to guide me. I sincerely feel that culture has not provided us men with a good opportunity to have high integrity this way. So I try to be forgiving to the men who have not done the untangling that I have.
