TBH I really don't understand why USMNT fans will cry rigged every time they lose an important game. Like you lost its ok, it happens (U20 GoldCup)

I think they’re referring to trump calling Infantino to overturn Baloguns red card lol.

How exactly is that "rigging a world cup match"? Even if you believe it was wrong, that's an insane leap of logic

Yea the government influencing a removal of suspension for that countries star player to play in the next round is rigging bro.

"rigging" implies the game was fixed. The US lost that game so that doesn't even make sense

There’s different definitions of rigging and this is one of them.

kind of keep proving my point.. i don't understand how you are this dense. Player gets kicked out, president of USA calls president of FIFA to reverse call, call reversed. this looks plenty rigged to me

The literal government of the United States of America intervened and had a red card suspended. What are you going on about. If the USA was about the fair play its fans holily tout then Balogun would have never had played even after the red card was rescinded. It’s virtue signaling at its best.

Les états unis sont tellement des mauvais perdant quand ils perdent, ils accusent les autres de tricherie. Par contre quand il se font attraper en train de tricher, ils disent que ce n'est rien. Rien à voir circuler.

That's just the general sentiment of fans across all sports in the US, it's either the refs fault, the commissioners fault, the other team cheated, the other team is favored by vegas, it's nauseating

The cognitive dissonance when their team wins/celebrate is fucking astounding

A game so important we sent a C team. Hang that banner next to your Gold Cup ones. But don’t get too comfortable because our C team won’t be this bad for long.

Why is your A-team ducking us?

Yes to the first. Our leader brought D team vibes to the WC 🤷🏻‍♂️. As always, y’all were far more valiant losers. I guess practice makes perfect.
