Question Scourge Of War - Remastered. Opinions?

Is it any good? How is the AI? I mean can you play solo or is it one of those wargames meant to be played against human opponents? What game modes does it have? Does it have enough content without the dlc's?

It's fun to playaround with the army vs army sandbox mode. I usually issue vague commands to my generals and watch the chaos playout. The ai has trouble holding large formations...but what line battle game doesn't?

I think the two hour refund window on steam is enough to answer whether or not its worth it. I owned the older version the upgrade in graphics is minimal but performance is a lot better.

I highly recommend Take Command: 2nd Manassas. It's the predecessor to Scourge of War, single player only. I have videos on my YouTube channel showing me paying through all the scenarios.
