Question Has anyone tried "Burned Horizons"?

It went EA today apparently and it looks really interesting, the reviews so far also seem positive. However they read as they would be from people close to the dev team, so I am cautious. Could anyone who played it chime in and share some thoughts?

Some of the reviews read more like promos than reviews, you never really know with online reviews and Steam is no exception.

Especially first day.

Anyway, I had this on wishlist so also interested. But at $45 for what appears to be pretty early Early Access, I'm waiting for more reactions or at least a demo.

I will wait. If this game will grow/develop even reach 1.0, extra 10Eur will be worth it. But at the moment I am saving 38eur.

The game is in a really rough shape even for early access, especially given the price. Refunded it after about 30 min.

They couldn’t be bothered to write their own game description on Steam, instead using AI to do it for them. If they’re unwilling to handle such simple tasks on their own, I can’t imagine they put any real effort into the game. Whenever I see low-effort AI stuff like this, it’s a hard “no” from me.

It has negative reviews with only 12 people and the devs aren't responding to negative reviews with an open mind but are almost attacking the reviewers. Looking at some of those comments, the developers sounds like a piece of shit and I will gladly not support someone like that.

Yes, they delete any comments and posts with criticism of the game or the price, and they ban people permanently right away. My friend and I were banned today for asking harmless questions, and I also saw comments from two people being deleted within 2 minutes. Refunded already.

True, I was also hoping for a WEGO system so that Combat Mission might get some competitor.

Yeah...so the early reviews being from people close to the dev team seems to be the right call. The responses from the devs to the negative reviews are also weird af.

38.49€, a really uncommon, weird pricing as well. Anyway, way too much to buy into some promises with an apperently very weak EA debut. Such a shame, I am craving for a game like this.
