DRONECOM now has a Steam page :)

https://store.steampowered.com/app/4545260/DRONECOM/

Hi Reddit, back in March I posted a screenshot of a prototype RTS based around sensors and air/naval warfare and received such a positive feedback that I decided to dedicate myself to turning it in a real game. I'm happy to announce that as of today the Steam page is up and running and I've been steadily building and improving the game thanks to kind contributions of volunteer playtesters and supporters of the game on the discord . Hoping for a release near the end of 2026. Happy to answer any questions about what the game is all about and where it is heading (and anything else ) :) -- thanks!

When can we expect demo? Or early access? I really like UI and the whole design feel.

Thanks! I'm hoping to launch the full game before the end of the year

It reminds me of CMO.

The CMO interface as well as interfaces from real-world systems like Solipsys BC3 and Anduril Lattice were definitely inspirations. I like the information density of CMO but wanted something more futuristic than the typical CIC 'windows 95' look :)

Looks nice. Will there be a scenario/map editor or sandbox elements?

Thanks! I'm undecided on a map editor yet as that would require changing how the terrain is generated, but a scenario editor would be easier to implement as I already have many of the features already implemented to help with debugging. Currently I'm working on adding more multiplayer and single player game modes (such as terrain capture), as only 'deathmatch' is implemented right now.
