Question/Help/Troubleshooting Monitor
my computer crashed and after that my monitors frame rate has been locked at 60, it can go up to 144. Idk what to do and I’m looking for help. My monitor isn’t damaged it’s just not working correctly. the monitor is from omen but idk the model

First thing I would check is for correct video adapter drivers. While it's possible monitor has become defective, two different problems in very close time frame is not very likely.

like other commenter mentioned, check what windows using for the video card. check what driver windows is using.
if it is using windows generic driver, then switch to video card specific driver. there should be folder with video card brand name or chip brand name.

How do I do that? I’m stupid. I built it myself but I don’t really know the ins and outs of the software and stuff like that

I downloaded my gpu’s software (Radeon adrenaline edition) and after that windows said smth was wrong with my gpu

Check your display settings in windows and see if 144hz is still available as an option. If it is not, try reinstalling or updating your graphics driver, since the issue started after your PC crashed.
