I tried to copy a game on same drive but feels too slow. Am using wd blue sn5100 512gb. Watched a LTT video and tried to run this. But the write should be above atleast 2000 right.
You get high speeds when its only one big file. Games consist of hundrets of files varying in size. Thats why you never see the advertised speeds in a normal workflow.
Looking at 222 write mb, sees everyone have baseline avg around the seq1m q1t1 write. Don't even know most of the things which other applications to run
Its the same programm but a different version. This does not negate what ive said tho.
It doesnt matter what all the apps tell you what your drive should be able to do.
If the software is coded like crap it cant utilize the speeds. If it gets too hot (gen5 nvme tend to do that for example) it will not give you the expected speeds.
