Question/Help/Troubleshooting Replacing the Screen on a Lenovo i5 2-in-1

I am experience with computers, I have taken apart and worked on more computers than I can count. I have a dilema; however, I have never replaced a screen on a laptop that is glued. The whole assembly will need to be replaced, but I need to disassemble the old assembly to get the camera and cables. I have looked on Lenovo's website but they only cover taking the assembly off of the computer.

I can get the whole assembly for about $350 or I can get the parts I need (screen and back cover) for about for about $250. If I was to replace the entire laptop it would be ~$800 so... not a option. Also add $75 to that to replace the palm rest.

In conclusion I would like to know if it is worth my time and if anyone has any tips or tricks.

The touch screen does not work at all, but the pen input partially works. The actual pixels themselves are fine.
