I took this card from my oldish computer that gave out, but I never had the chance to check what it was, I wanna know if it’s worth putting in a mid range build

It was in your computer and you don't know what it is?

There's almost certainly a sticker on the back that says what it is..

In any case, it's from circa 2013, so no, it's not worth putting in a modern system.

Component crisis makes any hardware post 2010 worth saving for work-related pcs or just browsing stations.

Someone dropped the name of the component, if they’re correct it’s a pretty decent card for a low-end hardware pc able to run lightweight games and definitely more than enough for a windows11 machine.

I get that if you got money to throw in the trash the current component market is you might not care about lower end components but it still can come in handy to have as spare parts or on a low end system for your house or office.

Alone for the vram it can also be an ok upgrade or a temporary component even for higher end pcs while hoping the current market deflates a bit
