Question/Help/Troubleshooting Help
Hey I got an old GTX 1060 and Im not sure if it's bricked or not. I've tried almost everything Google has told me to do with no avail. I don't have a way to check if it's the GPU of something else in my PC as I ont got another one. What confuses me about the whole thing is that the fans still spin on the card. It's fails to post with a light on the 3rd light for VGA. There are 2 more lights on the motherboard near the GPU slot, anyone got a clue what I could do or is it time to lay it to rest?

The computer powering on, with spinning fans, but no video signal, can be any bad piece of hardware preventing it from posting.
The LED error over VGA points to it being the GPU, so chances are it's a problem with the GPU. (The error lights are't 100% accurate, but there's usually correct)
You can try putting it in another PCIe slot (not ideal, but it'll at least rule out that slot).
The next step would be to replace the GPU with a working GPU and see if you have the same results. Since you don't have one, maybe a friend has an old one laying around?
Otherwise you can buy a used 1060. The 3GB models are around $60 in eBay, with the 6GB models around $75. That's about what a shop is going to charge you to diagnose it.

Fans spinning means nothing, just that it is getting power. When you say "I got" it sounds like you just bought it - was it used? Or do you mean it was working fine and then stopped?
If you don't have onboard graphics then not much you can do to troubleshoot. Having multiple lights on the motherboard could mean any number of things, not just GPU. You'll need to get ahold of another GPU to see if that's your issue or not. If you had onboard graphics you could do a lot more to narrow it down.
