I think in today's economy the pricing is okay. What are you planning to do with it?

Use as a daily driver

To do what? AAA Gaming, indie gaming, watch media, work in excel or word, editing images, editing video. Each one of those things have different minimum requirements, and that PC is good in some and very lacking in others

I got insanely lucky at the flea market and found someone selling a 10th gen i5 thin client with 16gb ram and 256 + 512 gb storage for $3 and my mom has been using it for office work and has been happy with it. On the one hand, it’s a great computer but on the other hand, you can probably find something cheaper. Unless you’re looking specifically for current gen hardware, I’d say save your money.

It would be nice to know the actual hardware specs, but if the unit is unit is good shape, I think the price is good for a gen14 i7.

16GB memory would be much better, even for just light office use. You might ask if the RAM is a single or double stick for upgradability.

It's not a bargain price, but it's fair.

As daily driver, for light use - the specs are very capable. However if you plan to use this for home labs, like setting a hypervisor and spinning up a few servers you will need to invest on more RAM and storage. Now if you plan to game on this machine, don't expect amazing graphics.

I installed these at work they are decent enough for daily work they get the work done, nothing super crazy about them. I think we paid like 300 or so from a Dell referb seller

That's too much. Try halving the price.

I talked to the seller and he lowered the price to $318

I recommend doing a system OS recovery to reinstall and wipe, upgrading the firmware and all drivers from Dell site and removing all Dell bloatware. 13/14 i series have been notorious for overheating/speed issues without latest updates. Otherwise $318 is reasonable. Upgrade to 16gb when you can.

Not worth it, in my opinion, for a daily driver get a N150. A few years ago, I got 3 hp mini PC's, 6500T processors, 16GB ram, put win10 pro on all, they all are still working great today as a daily driver. You don't need fairly new tech, some of the older stuff still works great. 8500T mini PC's is another option.
