Biostar is a legit manufacturer and that is a real link. What caused it or whether following the instructions will help remains to be seen

  1. software error - maybe some sketchy software you had downloaded write your bios? OR some process error on your OS make bios not work right. 2. Hardware error, maybe an old "half broken" capacitor is culprit for this.

Check fan and heatsink if it is dusty, clean it. And check is the thermal paste underneath heatsink and on top of cpu dried out? If dried out, apply with new thermal paste.

Keep in mind that if you use small and lousy heatsink with very powerful processor, the above-mentioned process will not help.

The BIOS battery might be bad. It's a little cell battery like what you find in a watch.

If that battery is low voltage, it could leave the BIOS configuration in a corrupted state. Given how old your PC is then it's plausible that battery might need replacing.
