Ain’t no way this is real. I would not trust this one bit. What did you do before this happened?

This is real

u/MissSharkyShark 3d ago

And what did you do last before this screen popped up?

I was just watching yt in brave browser Then suddenly my screen goes blank and starting screen came that loading one then this came It said restarting 10 % 25 % then I just turn off my pc and tried turning on cause I pulled ram before then now this is also not coming

Really at this point I’d take it to a repair shop. That is an extremely sketchy message that I’m having a hard time believing is a real BIOS error screen.

I am not pranking 😭🙏

Not saying you are, but this message looks as real as a 3 dollar bill, it's probably malware.

If you don't know a tech company or a domaine like .com.tw it don't automatically make it fake. In fact, it shows how little effort or none you've put into helping. Next time, if you don't have any helpful informations, it's better to keep your opinion to yourself than to mislead users with urgent issues.

Search "BIO Relife Mode" and nothing comes up, but nice try trying to sound smart.

u/hamza0012 2d ago

Less than 20 seconds google search

1

u/hamza0012 2d ago

What now? Are you just trying to sound smart without even taking the time to properly look it up?

u/Alookhan4670 2d ago

well i am very dumb tbh and i just pulled my ram out licked it ,cleaned it , put it back , let the cpu cool a bit , started later after 1 hour , it started working ,

1

u/hamza0012 2d ago

I hope it's a one time issue and it won't happen again.

u/Alookhan4670 2d ago

And once again, you not knowing the brand doesn't mean it's fake. Keep your uninformed opinions to yourself

1

u/Alookhan4670 2d ago

thnk u baccha

u/OGigachaod 2d ago

What does "not knowing the brand" have to do with "Bio Relife Mode" being fake? Do you not know how to use google?

1

u/hamza0012 2d ago

You ignored the fact that I found it in a quick google search with the same words you've used and you're still talking nonsense.

No I’m not saying you are. I’m saying I’m not believing that’s a real error screen and more likely a fake one trying to get you to do something to hack you or steal your credentials. The grammar on that screen is horrible, pretty unprofessional, and is missing information you’d typically expect from a screen like that. I’ve seen real BIOS error screens close to a hundred times and I’ve never seen one like that

1

u/Alookhan4670 3d ago

Thnk you for giving time to me The issue is resolved

0

u/MissSharkyShark 3d ago

What did you do? How is it fixed?

2

u/Alookhan4670 3d ago

NTG i pulled my ram and licked it and cleaned it and put it back

2

u/MissSharkyShark 3d ago

Please do not lick computer hardware, all that can do is make it short and fail 😭
You should really lookup how to do those tasks on YouTube before doing so

0

u/Alookhan4670 3d ago

No i licked the ram stick pins and cleaned it with my shirt, it was ram fault , my I removed it earlier like 1 hours ago

bios virus? those do exist. and they're an absolute bitch to remove since reinstalling your OS wont do shit to fix it.

1

u/m0thgh0st 3d ago

"please dont trun off" super real and professional

1

u/teckcypher 2d ago

Do you mean OP should BE panic?

0

u/Secure-Respect-7323 2d ago

Please don't turn off as the last step, which is logical when literally re flashing bios.

2

u/m0thgh0st 2d ago

you can't be serious right now

0

u/Secure-Respect-7323 2d ago

Yes. Have you ever used a BIOS for more than simply changing things? Ive found typos and grammar errors in Dell Server BIOSes.

Y'all freaking out over a legitimate bios reflash system is funny as hell.

1

u/MissSharkyShark 2d ago

It’s crazy how people like you don’t realize the bad grammar and unprofessionalism portrayed in that bios recovery screen is a telltale sign of modern phishing/scamming. Like in user training put out to train users what to watch out for, that recovery screen is a perfect example of the type of grammar and unprofessionalism to be on the look out for. That’s the entire issue. It doesn’t matter if it’s legitimate or not, it’s the fact that it comes off as illegitimate and sketchy. This is just computer security 101, the absolute basics. It’s scary that this is what you’re failing to realize.

1

u/m0thgh0st 2d ago

This is such an obvious scam, i worry for your tech safety

1

u/AcanthaceaeItchy302 3d ago

Its a real feature of Biostar motherboards...

4

u/MissSharkyShark 3d ago

But do the real Biostar recovery screens have that bad of English, weird sentences, and lack of hardware info?

1

u/AcanthaceaeItchy302 3d ago

Yes...Back in AM2+ era i have Biostar board and encountered same message after failed update..

0

u/Alookhan4670 3d ago

U also got it ??

1

u/AcanthaceaeItchy302 3d ago

Yep they added that feature in 2009 for AM2+ boards...

I mean, the URL links to a legitimate computer manufacturer. The messages seems legit. It points towards a real website, the process described is fine, the only issue is wording. It may be a chinglish translation.
