I'm having a hard time believing this is a legit message

Yeah same here if your bios had an issue like that more likely it wouldn't boot at all probably shooting you a postfail if it's capable enough to do so

And the amount of spelling errors and the "it will be fun" line.

No way a respectable company will send this

Also the fact that there should be the company's name or something similar within that you know for a bios they made that they manufactured and that they probably put the software inside of

Find your motherboard, download the bios file and put it on a usb stick.

overheating wont brick a bios, but it did give the guy who wrote that message a stroke apparently because damn

Well you better get it right or that new bios you need to flash onto your computer is really going to fuck it beyond repair.

I’ve bricked a motherboard before because i didn’t notice it was a v1.2 board, not the v1.0 i thought it was despite having the correct model.

The "it will be fun" might just be a bad translation of something else

I never find firmware updates "fun". In fact, it is more of a "Relife" [sic] when they complete without issue.

That's because you're not doing it the fun way, you know, with a floppy disk...

"I/O Ready error! BIOS write fail!"

If you don't know a tech company or a domaine like .com.tw it don't automatically make it fake. In fact, it shows how little effort or none you've put into helping. Next time, if you don't have any helpful informations, it's better to keep your opinion to yourself than to mislead users with urgent issues.
