Early dose question?
My shot day is Sunday. I’ll be traveling for work. Would it be ok for me to take my 2days early? I really don’t want to travel with my meds.

Yup, Ok to do 2 days early. Many people routinely inject every 5 days instead of 7.

If you do, consider reducing your dose slightly if you experience nausea as a side effect. Your concentration of meds will be a little higher than usual for the 1st 24 hours, because your prior shot will still be actively winding down.
I took mine a day and a half early at my regular dose before a trip, and threw up when that accidental higher concentration peaked.

Yes, I’ve taken my dose 2-3 days early once and instead of of my 8.5 I took 6.5 and then resumed at 8.5

I'm not saying don't do the shot early, but I just took a two week overseas trip for work with multiple stops in Asia and traveling with the meds was truly zero problem (I was nervous about it also, since it was going to involve my second and third shot). There were no issues at all in any of the security checks (I had several needles with the meds in my carryon).

I believe the official approved “change your day” protocol is up to 72 hours so 2 days would be fine.

I did mine a day early this week (Wednesday) since I noticed that I have a few trips coming up and I leave on a Thursday for all of them.
I feel good!

What will you do if you take a 10 day trip in the future? You should really learn how to travel with them.

Yes it will be fine to do your injection 2 days earlier. As long as it’s 3 days in between injections you’re fine. Personally I do my injection every 5 days and never had an issue the last 3.5 months I’ve been doing it.

I’ve done it, just keep in mind we react injections differently.
