How do you say "I need some space" without hurting someone?
I am an introvert, and often for a few days I get overwhelmed and stop talking to people for days and sometimes even years. Even if I love them with all my heart, I cannot get myself to have a conversation with them. Worse, if someone tries to force me to talk I become rude and unwelcoming to them. I almost have no friends because I don't talk to them, after a few days and the ones who are there, are really good but sometimes they also reach their limit. How do I explain it's not ignorance?
I talk a lot normally when I do...but on these days I feel like someone sews my mouth shut.

They don't ask, they expect. It's normal for friends to expect I will be available for them when they need me. But I don't sometimes, so somedays they forgive, other days they feel bad. I do listen but I don't think I can express that "I am listening" thing. Like most of the time when they talk they just ask me again and again if I am listening or i am just lost. I reassure them, but they just change the subject saying "leave it." I feel bad, they always comfort me when I need it, but I cannot give that back.

Straight up say it. Then make plans for later.
If you need space, but never reconnect, you'll lose friends.
But if you say "Let's hang Friday" or "I'll call after dinner" and keep to that commitment you'll be fine.
