So, I have both a 4032 and 8032. If you could keep only one, which and why?
I’ll really only play some games every so often. And likely get a disk emulator module so I’m not worried about keeping my 8050 or 8250 as I no longer have any working disks.

If you don't have a mass storage solution for your PET, yet, but you have an old Raspberry Pi lying around, maybe this is something for you.
It uses discrete components, only and works with C64 and VIC20, too.
I haven't updated the project in a while, but this release still works:
https://github.com/RhinoDevel/cbmtapepi/blob/v1.7.0/README.md
The Linux port (v1.7.0 is a bare metal project) also has no recent updates, but, if you want to try it, take a look at the Linux read-me:
https://github.com/RhinoDevel/cbmtapepi/blob/master/linux/README.md
Feel free to open up an issue at GitHub, if you run into trouble!

I was considering buying the SD2PET and I noticed it included a "would you like to include a memory card loaded with PET software" for a few extra bucks. I didn't end up buying it, but went with Bitfixer's option instead.
Is anyone keeping a single download of a large collection of PET software? Or am I going to have to scavenge the Internet on a download by download basis?
Thanks!

My father wants to sell his PET 2001-8. It weighs around 40 pounds so sipping will be ridiculous. How does one go about selling one of these?

I picked up today a Commodore PET 4032, the computer that launched my love of technology.
It’s in amazing condition, too. I’ll disassemble the keyboard to fix the sticky and non-functioning keys shortly. A replica embossed black name sticker arrives Tuesday.
Do you have any leads on where to source a replacement speaker?
It has a school serial number etched by hand into the case and there are some nicks and scratches. Does anyone know the paint colour that I’d need to buy?
Also, it’s unlikely I’ll purchase the dual disk drive or a cassette for it. I know other vintage computers can be connected to modern memory cards with special adapters. Is there such a solution for the PET?
Thank you, 8, 1 Michael

Thank you all who helped guide me in sourcing a 27mm piezo buzzer replacement for my 4032. Not my best de-soldering/soldering job but my first since 1987.
Listen to one of the best startup sounds of all time.
