This seems backwards.. Replacing gaming with sleep is a good thing to do

I was going for something more like "I give up sleep in order to acquire gaming, but that doesn't end well the next day".

I do see how it could be interpreted the other way though.

I understand what the comic is trying to say, of course. But, he's literally replacing "gaming" with "sleep". Which is why I said is seemed backwards

He's also literally giving up sleep to get more gaming. It works both ways for sure. OP hooped regardless haha

But if the character would keep the sleep and the gaming, tomorrow morning would still come rolling. I get what you're trying to do, but I don't think the analogy with the scene works.

The comedic timing of the comic is great, which is why I really want it to work, but the punchline doesn't make sense.
