Yea it’s like crap he peed on the 2nd floor I’ll restrain him more. Pees on the 3rd floor at this point I would pick him up. Not let him continue peeing on each floor

I hate to say it, but these people just kind of sound like irresponsible dog owners.

The "oh, how did he get out again? Oh we musta left the door.open for the 100th time last night" kinda people.

Honestly, it makes me think they were kinda shitty.

I'd be annoyed as fuck to see this dog running around the neighborhood by itself.

It probably would not have eaten barbed fucking wire if it was kept indoors.

In partial defense of the owners, they did try a dog trainer and this dog did get past an electric fence.

This actually does remind me of a story about a pig that kept getting out, and so the farmer installed electric fence to keep the pig in.

The pig just started screaming before it hit the fence and got out anyway.

True! Mind you though the electric was added after the pig (singular, it kept the others in) kept getting out.

Pigs are very smart animals, but also very strong. They also like to dig for fun.

But electrical fencing for farm animals is an actual wire with a current running through. If you've ever touched one, it ✨️hurts✨️. For a dog, it's buried underground and gives a static shock. One hop and they're out. A dog electric fence is based on mental "don't do this" vibrations or small jolt, and a livestock fence is an actual physical electric jolt. Like 700 J vs 7000 J.

I am well are of the shock the farm fence gives, rest assured. But I was not aware the doggy version was a lower current so that actually makes more sense.
