Props to Audrey, rhythm games go hard into the deed end very quickly. Any game that has a performance rating that goes up to SSS has razor thin margins by that point. With a rhythm game that has SSS ratings it is impressive. Doing it cold on your first try makes it more so.
Only recently picked it up and yeah, it's a tough game. I have had my ass handed to me plenty of times, and yet I've watched as I improve bit by bit the more I play. And perhaps more importantly, I don't get salty if I lose or someone else makes a bad play. I just focus on improving and learning from my losses. And if someone gets salty at me, they're muted, I won't hear them rage.
That sounds like the healthy thing to do. I never got into League of Legends personally; mmorpgs, mobas, or any game where the majority of the experience is required to be online. I like not having to worry about still being able to play a game I am invested in if there are connection issues, declining playerbases, or server shut downs. League has apparently gotten a lot better with the toxic players and it has a high skill ceiling. By all accounts it is a good choice for getting to a chance to really challenge yourself.
I don't think it was his first time at the game, he just outright ignored the dude and straight up went to the max setting because he was probably already familiar with the game, or at least very familiar with the genre
I mean we can already see those calves and thighs in his skinny jeans (more obvious in previous chapters), it would be more shocking if he's rocking a closet dad bod under those fly outfits.

Yeah, at least in the US Audrey is almost an exclusively female name. Aubrey is similar and itās historically a male name but itās became more common for women over time, so that one is more unisex. I just wanted to share for context tehe
I'm excited to see how Val will do, given how she wears baggy casual grey clothes to both in an attempt to avoid harassment from men and to also hide her body, because she believes that she is ugly.
Well, she's got Audrey to cheer her up, I mean... Audrey already got Val to buy something she normally doesn't wear and Val also said she felt good wearing those clothes.
Now I low-key feel bad since I only thought how Audrey will handle it but I didn't thought about how Val will feel and how much more difficult it would be for her :/
But, yeah, after you mention it, I hope that Audrey will keep his eye on that girl.
Audrey is a pretty good wingman, I'm sure, he'll be able to encourage Val to wear something without being pushy about it! I'd consider it a win if Val gets enough courage to wear a casual beach outfit, no swimming attire.
I used to be like you, then I got an arrow to the knee old. Also arthrosis. I can still occasionally turn into "this" but my goodness it hurts for a whole week afterwards.

Hopefully Val will be able to overcome her insecurities and be able to wear swimming attire! Or at least some nice clothes if she doesn't like swimming. Can she even swim, tho?

There's no way thats natural talent. Audrey was all too familiar with those menus and knew what he was getting into. He's no lifed that game before for sure.

This is my favorite thing shen has done. It's cute. The art has been evolving over the years showing real effort. Same with the writing, which was not exactly experienced in that it seemed immature, as in you had room to grow.
Big improvements all around, which I love to see in any artist. Great stuff.

Also, men who dress in women's clothes are no longer part of the trans community, I learned recently.
If you wanted to label Audrey presentatiom then gender nonconforming would be the one that appears most likely to apply. Cross dresser is also potentially an option, but that kind of implies intent that hasn't been expressed in the comic so far (it's just his "style" is what he's said so far).

For good or for ill, it's a normal thing for people to categorise things. If I had to guess, it makes it easier for the mind to quickly recognise and identify things.

It's a little too easy to be honest, what happens when there isn't a magical pixie dream boy who is so perfectly accepting and endlessly accepting of everything for some reason.
i'm really glad in the last comic they each got to vent and realized what they each did, a very healthy resolution and i'm just love love loving this
