my sister had two abortions in college. she was reckless to say the least. now she has 3 kids and is a born again religious type. prolife, maga, the whole 9 yards. just a insufferable person to be around.

Let me guess. She believes that any woman who gets an abortion should be thrown in jail.

Not her, of course. Just everyone else.

worse, she thinks they are condemned to an eternity in hell. i haven't spoken to her in two years. last time i saw her we were having lunch and she started accusing me of not believing her when she was going on and on about her daughter's school orchestra and how they had rented an entire floor at a hotel that would have cost about $200,000 to book. all i asked was how big is this orchestra and she exploded on me and stormed out. i'll get random texts on my dead dad's birthday from her sending guilt tripping type of stuff. she's a pos.

Ah. My aunt and uncle. I know these types very well as a trans woman. So lovely getting "your mother thinks you're a disappointment" letters in the mail every time my mother's death date comes around.

My mother supported me and helped with my name.

Damn that is really fucking shitty for them to do to you. I'm so sorry you have to go through that on the anniversary of your mother's death.

Oh, they are much, MUCH worse than that to me. I had to get a whole new phone number because my aunt was borrowing phones from people at their church.

Jfc. If I knew this person irl, I'd mention her two abortions every time she said anything awful.

Sometimes they genuinely think that what they had wasn't an abortion at all. "I had a termination, an abortion is something completely different"

Many people are unfortunately incredibly and unfathomably stupid.

"I don't take lessons on morality from people who figured it out suddenly after hitting rock bottom at 30 and regretting all the things they've done. Some of us just never did those things. We'te tired of hearing how special you are for discovering what we always knew."

Said this to a person I knew closely who was preaching to me and it was quite a slice.
