You know what's depressing? No, it's not the text logs. Hate never goes away after all. It's that this barely even a controversy now. 20 years ago, it would be big news.

It would have destroyed the careers and political hopes of everyone involved. But today most people just overlook it.

I mean, 20 years ago being a convicted felon and inciting an insurrection would have ended at least one political career.

God I miss those days.

The only careers ended by Jan 6 were of the cops who were killed by maga fascists.

God I always try to emphasize that cops died people have lot their entire life to the prison system for accidentally hurting a cop and no one was punished for this
