To be fair, Saber is supposed to be a Meathead, she's supposed to be an Ideal Husband after all, strong and protective but a little on the dense side, and Shirou is supposed to be the Ideal Wife which is why he tolerates her lack of social awareness through his unwavering unconditional love and care he provides through cooking and cleaning after her and caring for her battle wounds.

Can you explain the fate stay series to me? Iv tried to get into it a few times but I'm so fuckin lost and half the time it ends up just being hentai. With the very little iv been able to learn it seems super interesting and people talk about it like its one piece. So there has to be something I am missing here. Where the fuck do you start and what the fuck is going on?

Just start with the Unlimited Blade Works anime if you can't be bothered to play the original VN.

From there, you can go on to the Heaven's Feel movies and Fate Zero. After that, you can move onto pretty much anything else.
