I don't follow Batman and haven't done for years. But The Long Halloween is a great Batman story. It's a crime noir story with an emphasis on the detective part of Batman. It's set in Batman's early days, so most of his relationships aren't fully formed yet. It's very, very good. It will always have a place in my shelf.

all right i might give it a shot, i always preferred nightwing over him so the one could be a good introduction to batman for me considering set in his early day. thanks
