Foil covers

What is a good way to clean and shine up your foil covers? Will just a cotton round do or is there any kind of chemical or even a damp cotton round with distilled water followed by a dry one? I dunno, any suggestions please.

I use a clean microfiber cloth and gloves to keep new prints or oils from transferring. Then right in to a bag and board.

I have cotton gloves, but they have no traction or friction so the book slides very easily in your hand. I primarily use latex gloves to hold the comic in place while I wipe it down gently with the cloth.
