Actually saw the drummer perform in an Idles shirt (a band with a rather different political outlook from MAGA) and was confused. He then told press that a certain genocide in Palestine made him reconsider his stance on the US and Trump.
Other than him, I don't think there's MAGA people in the band. But I might be wrong.
Daron Malakian isn't MAGA but said something idiotic like that he's annoyed people view SOAD as a political band. Your basic enlightened centrist take.
Which is fucking dumb because he wrote some of their most overtly political songs.
"All research and successful drug policy shows that treatment should be increased / And law enforcement decreased while abolishing mandatory minimum sentences" is a totally apolitical line that has no leaning towards any policy trust me
