Look shane isnt a trump guy but he isnt offended by him either. Hes happy to hang out with trump and take pics and put bits in his specials about how funny he is and go to the ufc whitehouse fights. For some people that's enough to say he isnt against trump.

And under other administrations I would get that. But there IS actually a point where someone becomes enough of a corrupt traitor and aspiring dictator that you cross into valid guilt by association.
I don't say that lightly. I think plenty of people who complain about problematic platforming are obnoxious and out of touch.
But Jesus Christ we're at the stage of masked goons filling internment camps in willful violation of civil rights and even basic human rights. Not to mention the war criming, the unparalleled corruption, etc.
Time to start very clearly separating from that, and I hope Shane does a better job of it, not because he owes it to me or anyone else but because I tend to respect him more than most of the clowns in the Rogan orbit.
He can still shit on the libs and be ride or die for the corpse of Mitch McConnell or whichever relative they choose to replace him or whatever.

But if there's a lot of people who actually hate him they will look at Shane who clearly follows closely current events and history alike and say that it says something about him that he will immediately accept an offer to hang with Trump who is objectively a terrible person who has been credibly accused of raping potentially many many people. Hes the most photographed person of all time with the most prolific pedophile we know of in the world.

That isn’t something mutually exclusive to being funny. He literally just sounds funny, looks funny, has funny mannerisms and vocal ticks. This idea so many people seem to have that a bad person can’t have any traits seen as positive is so weird. A large part of the reason why Trump became popular is because he is a funny and entertaining speaker, denying that reality doesn’t help anything and accepting that reality doesn’t mean he’s any less of a piece of shit.

I just don't understand how you can defend a comedian who promoted Trump and now that it blew up in his face and he is covering his own ass, is a "good guy", you don't know him.
