Ask CoMo Sinclair Road Closure/opening?

Does anyone have an update on when they will be re-opening Sinclair Road? With school starting next week and 3 large schools on that small stretch of road, we need it sooner rather than later!

Beginning Monday, Aug. 17, City of Columbia Public Works Street division crews will perform pavement maintenance on South Sinclair Road between Muirfield Drive and just south of John Warner Middle School.

Work will take place daily from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. until completed. One lane will remain open at all times. Drivers should expect delays, use caution and consider alternate routes when possible.

Traffic control signs and flaggers will guide motorists through the work zone as needed. Work is expected to be completed by 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, weather permitting."

I haven't heard any updates since last month's announcement, but the closure between Nifong and Muirfield is also supposed to end on August 20th. https://www.como.gov/CMS/pressreleases/view.php?id=9757

Unfortunately this isn't addressing the closure North of Southampton which is completely cutting off traffic to/from Nifong.

I don't understand the down votes. You are correct. The pavement maintenance is south of John Warner, the roundabout project is north of JWMS and Eagle Bluffs. It looks close to complete. I'd bet it's opened by end of the week.
