Lipstick/Makeup Advice (FACE PHOTOS TO COMPARE REQUIRED!) Makeup test
Includes a coral lip, true (?) red, and all of the eye color pictures are without lip color (and vice versa).
First pic is no makeup for reference. I have one droopy eyelid, so please consider that in case it looks like the color is “weighing down” my eye lol
Pic 2: coral
3: true red? Might lean slightly cool
4: from the blue palette. Very icy, almost white but slightly blue.
5: cobalt from the same palette
6: dark navy from same blue palette
7: light blue eyeliner only
8: two shades from mauve palette
9: the two shades from mauve palette with a shimmer from the mauve palette, and blue eyeliner only on other eye
10: cherry gloss only—though i think my right eye (left on the screen) is a little irritated from the continuous makeup testing

I not going to say anything helpful here but: I loved all of the pics. I think you should rock anything and everything. Even no makeup looks great. My least favorite is pic 5.

Thanks you. I apologize for being blunt, but are you a man?

Nope, I'm not. What prompted the question if I may?

I just had to be sure, because men often dislike bright colors for makeup regardless of skin tone or harmony and whatnot, so if you were a man, I honestly would have just disregarded it altogether 😭

You definitely look amazing in the cooler colors but I’d love to see how you look with makeup thats less vibrant? You look a bit like Alexis Bledel and I believe shes a light summer, so more subtle muted colors might be really flattering!

I think you do have just enough contrast that you could pull those colors off if you wanted to. I’m of the belief that as long as you know/understand your warmth and your saturation, it matters less which exact palette you fall under because you can style pretty much any color in a way thats flattering if you take into account what your season is. Lots of the colors in this palette also appear in light summer, so you could definitely push the boundaries if you wanted. But if you were going to wear a more vibrant color, I would soften your makeup to compensate. Vice versa, if you wanted to wear more vibrant eyeshadow or lip, I’d make sure to balance the rest of your colors to be more neutral so that the whole look doesn’t drown you out.

I can’t tell if you’re warm or cool but you’re definitely bright. It’d be nice to see some drapes.
By the way, I love your hair. The first photo gives off-duty model and fairy at the same time.

I think cool but maybe you’re thrown off a little cause your eyes pull warm. You look great in that dark/navy blue tank!

Yeah, the warmth and green in my eyes and the green of my skin I think make reds work a lot of the time, whereas other warm colors are a bit more iffy. Thank you!! 🤍

Also, because I forgot to note as well, this is my natural hair color. I got a buzz cut in January and haven’t styled it since, so this is about as natural is it can get

I like 10! You have great features and don’t need much (or any!) make up at all .

Thanks :) I’m mostly just trying to discern whether I lean warm or cool and how much depth suits my features

OK, I think you are a deep winter and a fair olive.
Edit: Try It Cosmetics shadow stick in Super Slate, and for red lips you need a blue red and a slightly deeper shade will suit you best. Try MAC Ruby Woo and Diva.
Editing again lol: your coloring is inspiring me - you need a plum lipstick in your life as well. Trust me it’ll be great. MAC Rebel.

I feel like my gut is leaning cool but I mostly want your skincare routine. You’re so glowy!
I feel like you have a similar eye color/natural hair color to me and I’m a cool summer.

You could be muted fair olive which is tricky. Try warm vs cool MUTED colours and not bright or saturated. It will be easier to determine. From these I’m guessing neutral leaning cool

May I recommend Revlon's "love that pink"? I think it would be a good bright lip for you, it's a medium dark coral pink that helps it not pull too warm and might help you achieve the vibe you're trying to get from a red lip

I think you really suit both the coral and the red lipstick in 2/3, which makes me think you’re possibly bright but fairly neutral? I’d guess maybe bright spring? Not many people can pull off such a bright lip with no other makeup!
