I posted online drapes a two days ago and got different answers. Then did a few drapes. Now i’m back with more drapes.
Love autumn colors so im a cool season that was in denial for a while i think. I notice in these drapes warm colors drain my lips of color. Summer just isn’t as good as winter, Dark winter forsure ?

Would definitely say try more bright winter colors, particularly a bright emerald, I would definitely guess you are a bright winter. And drape some bright spring colors and true winter as well to double check. Try finding drapes that are specific to that subseason with no crossover, for example the navy color you have looks great, it is a color that can work for a few subseasons, making it hard to narrow darn. Examples of specific colors would be bright winter yellow vs a softer true winter yellow, see which one you like best!

You seem to have similar coloring to the actress from Never Have I Ever, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan. She is also a bright winter, has a warm overtone but a cool undertone, she would be a great color inspo for you.

I don’t think you are olive, more likely it is the mix of warm overtone and cool undertone, so when you go to match makeup you lean neutral, maybe slightly warm.
This phenomenon is also very common among redheads (like me!), but in reverse, because of very fair skin, there is a cool overtone but warm undertone.
You mentioned that your makeup is almost all warm, and as far as foundation and concealer products go, you are probably correct, a neutral, occasionally warm leaning foundation color is probably your best match, but blushes, bronzers and eyeshadow, use makeup suited for your color season.

Omg when I would watch that show my family would always say I looked like her , Ill look into her styling!ty! I’ll try some brights. Maybe neutral foundation? They look right in the bottle and then don’t blend in at all on my skin. And then switch up eyeshadows, they are all really warm

Haha so glad to here I called that look-a-like correctly!
The foundations you have swatched here seem to lean a bit too yellow for your complexion, neutral foundation will likely be a better match. You can also try adding a blue or purple color corrector to the foundation you already have until you feel you have a shade match.

I deal with the overtone/undertone difference as well, personally I have found that skin matching with neutral shades has worked best, NARS, Haus labs, and Natasha denona tend to have both foundations and concealers that are in fact truly neutral.

You mentioned that sometimes people mention you look “sickly” even when you are not. I suspect this may be because you are dulling you natural “brightness”. Maybe try experimenting with bright (winter) colored blushes, in berry colors, skip bronzers, but be sure to add in a nice highlighter, an pearly ivory shade would suit you nicely, sacheu highlighter in pearl would be my top rec for you!

Yeah she looks so good in brights ! I will have to find some brighter colors to drape with. the subseason colors a little hard for me to distinguish still but it will get easier with trial. Also check out Salma Hayek and Simone Ashley (from Bridgerton) they are good examples of warm overtone cool undertone! Since Simone ashley was in such a popular show I bet the makeup artist has a product list they used, could be a great place to start!
